I have not doen anything with the Z today, but one of my dogs, Opie, got to visit Santa at the UC Davis Mouse Biology Program yesterday.

Opie is a 6 year old Bichon Frise -- a rescue dog. We had problems with him at first as he hates white males (he lived with 2 elderly black ladies and they were all he knew). We warmed up to each other though. His name was Joe, but Opie fits better.

I can see that a whitey issue could be a problem because, well....you're pretty white! :tup:

no z-action today, but i am going to look at the service manual to check where the clips are on the bottom cover under the steering column.

i dont plan on motoring my Z any time soon, but i might do the steering lock replacement and knob on monday if temps are mid-40F's and fire her up for maybe 15sec.

Yah just saw that new Mini Coupe last night and was somewhat impressed! It's no slouch, but I wouldn't trade my Z for it! :ugh2:

I replaced my wiper blades with Michelin Stealth and gave her a nice Christmas Eve bath. (Sorry for the low quality Droid shot -- I was being lazy).

No. I added a few rubber o-rings on top of the shift lever to raise the boot up a bit.

im sure the koni's can provide better overall damping for your lowering springs better than the stock dampers. :) you can at least fine tune the rebound to your liking which is important.

im going to wait another year before doing anything to my Z. for the time being i want to just enjoy the car without dealing with new things on it. :D

I feel you on trying to wait before more mods, I always say that then I just get this itch and next thing I know I'm in the middle of replacing another part and driving back and forth to Home Depot buying tools and pieces I need. :shakes head:

Ok, I have to ask, but why do some folk's shift boot look like this:
And some looks like this:

Is it because perhaps Mr. Onzedge maybe took out that spacer on the shaft and the PWJDM knob sits lower? Or.....did Mr. Onzedge put a short shifter on his ride?

Edit: BAH! Figgered it out! Mr. Onzedge is so cool he has a B&M short shifter! :tiphat:

I had Koni Yellows on my 350 and they were incredible. Now I'm stoked!
