Luna, not many out there that will go the extra mile. An act of compassion and caring goes along way. You are alright in my book. I am sure you made her day and her daughters. :tiphat:

LunaZ 12-13-2011 10:32 PM

What is awhile Ken? Two hours LOL. You suffer fron kenbuyingzpartsmania. You can send me $1000 for that diagnosis. I recommend a freeze on your credit cards and all online part suppliers.:shakes head: LOL I doubt that would even help ya.

nono, im seriously done buying parts for my Z for a while. unless something breaks or needs replacement (like that steering lock), maintenance parts, im just going to enjoy the car the way it is now. the shift knob was just a xmas present for the Z. :p

Fire 12-13-2011 10:54 PM

Hmm don't know if I believe ya Ken. I still don't get that steering lock, did you break yours or just buy one to have?

Waiz 12-13-2011 11:17 PM

I've been pretty sick for the past two days and haven't even walked outside the house let alone looked at my Z.

I'm feeling better though and plan on taking the Z out tomorrow

Fire 12-13-2011 11:19 PM

It's been going around, glad you are feeling better. Taking the Z out tomorrow is just what the doctor ordered.

sfearl1 12-14-2011 12:17 AM

Ive been detailing my car since saturday. Dawn wash, clay, wash, Zaino ZPC, Z2, Z5, etc. Almost done with the ZPC and porter cable. Next up is the Z2/Z5.

I also removed my mud guards tonight. I prefer the Z without them - makes the car look way more aggressive from the rear imo.

Posting pics as soon as I finish detailing, I can't wait until its done!

Fire 12-14-2011 02:30 AM

You should have called Ken over sfearl1, he could bring his $50,000 groit system over :excited:

Glad to hear you're doing better. :D. I've been feeling sick since Halloween, actually. Its not so bad I need to call in all the time but just not feeling good. Hope to get some rest this holiday (lol... )

Fire- the steering lock isn't broken on mine (yet) but its the old lock with the bad design prone to breaking without warning. Theres a whole thread on it in the exterior/interior forum.

That's awesome. Zaino is the stuff I used to use in NY when I detailed cars but I've been too inpatient to wait for an order to come in lol.

Yes, he could maybe bring his shiny red cart! :)

ZForce 12-14-2011 09:44 AM

No Z action today, still looking for my car keys.

Fire 12-14-2011 09:45 AM

I get it now Ken. Thanks. Guess having warranty and very low miles I didn't consider a problem like that.:shakes head:

Fire 12-14-2011 09:53 AM

Hey guys have a question and want your professional opinion LOL. My Camaro is getting a SC installed by the dealer before I recieve the car. Would you guys consider it "modded" or "stock"? :wtf2:

Is it a GM option?

The SC is a GM Performance part with full warranty and will be sent to the dealer waiting for the car to be delivered. I put it like the COPO and dealer cars of the 60's and 70's like Skoggins Dickey "might be spelled wrong LOL" Yanko ect. They installed parts that where provided by the company but not officially offered to the average person.

Fire 12-14-2011 10:13 AM

Z you lost both sets? Man that sux.

If I spend more than 3 minutes looking for me keys and I cannot find them, I consider it a sign from God and call in sick.

B&W_Evader 12-14-2011 10:16 AM

What did I do with mine... Took it up to 136 yesterday making the 4th fastest I've driven to date. Still pulling hard but didn't feel like pushing it to number 1.

Of course you were in an controlled environment, like a track, and not on public roads, right?

I'd consider it a stock car with a very special factory option. :D

Fire 12-14-2011 10:22 AM

Thank you m4 I'm keeping track LOL 1 for stock 0 for mod
