The Camaro I wanted was to be 680 hp and a 6m I felt that would give me the sporty feel I want.

ahh, i see. that's why a V6 camaro never wants to race my Z off the line. not that i would anyway... i get eaten by minivan's. :icon17:

 Damn my car is pretty loud and I have yet to set an alarm off. Then again Ive never revved the sh1t outta it in a parking garage.

why? you want to compare yourself to a balding middle aged minivan driver dud stuck with kids all day for a fat woman with loads of crap to do to make minimum wage? :icon17:

that's not wat cool people do.

In my 240z, it just takes a little throttle blip to do the trick -- 11.5 pound Fidanza and fully mechanical throttle helps quite a bit in the instant-gratification arena.

Fire 12-21-2011 04:51 PM

I think you heard one or your voices in your head LOL Minivans should be banned from the road.

sfearl1 12-21-2011 05:52 PM

/\ well, you wouldn't necessarily lose ALL reliability, maybe just some and even that's not a foregone conclusion. Just make sure you get a great tune, the tune is critical, esp for the stillen s/c since their out of the box tune by all accounts is crap. That said, were I ever to get a s/c, I'd be going with the stillen unit with an upgraded impeller and custom tune. :yum:

Today I drove over to one of my R/c plane flying spots. Followed up by smashing the plane into a bunch of pieces when it hit a light pole because of some stupidity and getting a little distracted. Then I spent about 2 hours cleaning my car for a photoshoot the Z club here as organized for tomorrow.

Wow, I'd say that sign is criminal! I mean, how many exotics come from the factory with three inches of clearance? PLENTY! Are they going to tow them? I should say not! Sounds like a double standard, and grounds for a lawsuit!

I'll stand behind you if you'll sue them Onzedge! :)

Ok..... maybe three inches of clearance is (while not entirely uncommon) a bit lower than most exotics perhaps, but you catch my drift, no?

And what about the exhausts that come stock on exotics??? Oh man! Don't even get me started! :)

KingZee 12-21-2011 09:34 PM

This country has lost the meaning and greatness for the freedoms it once stood for...complete bullsh*t at this point.

Waiz 12-21-2011 09:40 PM

Well some of our exhaust setups are wayyyy too loud for most structures.

Ever since I switched to HFC's I setoff alarms all the time :icon17:

KingZee 12-21-2011 09:42 PM

Lol I somewhat understand the exhaust thing but wtf do lowered cars have to do with anything? Lol

brucelidat 12-21-2011 09:42 PM

how do they know if you have a modified exhaust other than when they hear you come in? Are they going to drive around and look at them and compare to stock photos of cars and say "that's modified, tow it"? Ridiculous. And what's the problem with the lowered cars? The only car getting scraped, etc. is the lowered car itself.

happytheman 12-21-2011 09:46 PM

I think this anti-lowered car thing is pure racism!

Fight the power!

Or sportscarism?

I have a white friend whose cars are always slammed. Mine's not lowered at all and I'm Asian, haha.

Alchemy 12-21-2011 10:01 PM

onzedge, please tell me thats one of those fake signs you can by for your driveway. Sorta like "Z parking only".

Shift knobs arrived today, will be going in the stocking over the fireplace. Install coming soon. Welcome back fire, congrats jmazz and welcome to the community. Allstate insurance just released the worst city in the nation for bad drivers, fender benders, etc...and the city is .....Sacramento. Biggest complaint is drivers have too much on their mind instead of paying attention to their driving. Greetings onzedge & kenchan.
