Cool!

Speaking of MD-Sacramento connections, I'm thinking of one day driving the length of Rte. 50, which goes all the way from Ocean City, MD, to Sacramento, CA. I might then drive down to San Fran. But if I ever get the time, resources, and gusto to do this, we will have to raise a glass or five, mr. onzedge.

Let me know -- our door is always open to Z folks. The beginning of hwy 50 is close to my house and there is a sign that says "Begin Hwy 50, Ocean City, MD -- 2,860 Miles".

TGIF to you as well, Mr. Kenchan. :tiphat: :hello:

Z action this weekend -- installation of my H&R front wheel spacers on Sunday and then a bath. Otherwise, grocery shopping and house cleaning in anticipation of my paren for herts' arrival for Thanksgiving. They are in the Cadillac CTS, not Z crowd.

happytheman 11-18-2011 09:52 AM

They're building a TGIF near my house right now. :)

Dang, Mr. Kenchan. We are not doing turkey this year for the first time. Our menu is: Spiral-sliced ham, homemade 4 cheese scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole with maple bacon, ceasar salad (anchovies too) and biscuits with gravy.

I am trying to fight the urge to go indulge in Black Friday action.

I usually go to Sears and Harbor Freight for tools for me and my sons, then Macy's for the Mrs.

The Z had it's first "water" wash since August. Water restrictions forced water-less car washes. Honestly, once you get the hang of it, the water-less is actually faster, plus no drying the car, which is the part I hate most.

I'll break out the Griot's Best of Show wax tomorrow.

Very lazy day for me,

I woke up bright and early and had a shop install the toe bolts and they did the alignment. I was at -3.5 in the rears before camber arms and adjustments. Now it's at -1.2 and it feels much better. I usually install everything myself but we did my roommates last night and too a long time with a dremel and (4)115 bits, so $40 to the kid doing my alignment and he had it done in 10min, both sides haha.

Then, I paid for my first ever interior detail and then took a few pics with TMAN1985 after lunch.
ALIGNMENT! YES! LESS NEGATIVE CAMBER!!! (I hate the low and slow Honda/VW flush and cambered-out look).

bernardio 11-18-2011 03:20 PM

fresh and clean Footloose! I just got an alignment today and they could not get better than -2.6 camber on one side of the back. I think I may have to get some bolts or bars along with my swifts to get me closer to spec.

Haha thanks guys. I need to invest in a DSLR. All shots are just with the iPhone 4S and then photobucket resizes them smaller. They're really good until its low lighting...

I very nearly had two large turkeys in my grill on the way home as six or seven of them streamed across the road. Due to my efforts to avoid them i was very nearly creamed by a number of other vehicles that loomed quickly in my rear view at 50mph.

Nice. Turkeys around here are plentiful this time of year and we get to dodge them regularly. I often consider waiting in my backyard for them, late at night when it's nice and quiet and they think they are safe, with my night vision goggles, Glock 22 and 2 liter soda bottle silencer. :icon17:

Haha same here. I'm gettin the spaces in between!

kenchan 11-18-2011 08:12 PM

hey i did the sprayon carwash in about 25min. then towels in the washer by 30min tops. quite an accomplishment. :p will get fastererer by next time. :D

while doing so i bumped my big head on the griot's detailing cart. then it rolled slightly into my Z. :crying: but no scratch on the Z cause i added a small bumper on the cart a while ago. :D wheeew. damn my head still hurts if i push on the area. lol

Skeeterbop 11-18-2011 08:51 PM

Was severely disappointed tonight. Got out to the drag strip just to find out the timing system was broken and the track was closed. Apparently, the owner had flown out to Cali to get the replacement part and they are hoping to have it working tomorrow morning for the race they are hosting. So last time out the printers were broke, this time the timing system is broke; what's next, the concrete falling apart?

Waiz 11-18-2011 09:03 PM

Good evening gentleman!

I recently picked up a leather conditioner that came highly recommended. It says to leave it on overnight so I will probably be trying it out tonight and leaving it until tomorrow!

Water-less takes me about 30 minutes. I've always averaged around 45 minutes from the time I drag out the hose to the time I reel it back-up. Plus with water-less, no drips to re-dry from the mirrors and other crevices after pulling the car back in the garage.

That all being said, a true-uber cleaning requires a bucket of suds and a hose.

smokejr 11-19-2011 09:31 AM

Have spent the last three weeks installing my stereo system, Kenwood DNX5160,
PG TI600.2, JL60.1, JL13 shallow sub, MB Quart QSM218, front stage only, the front
sounds awesome but I think I need a line driver for the sub, not much volume.
