Good coastal cruise Sat, probably my favorite section of PCH from Fort Ross to Leggett. The last 21 miles from PCH to Leggett is enough to sastify even the die hard for twists and turns. I rank it # 1 for the West Coast Canyon Carvers. We had the road to ourselves with perfect weather. It does not get any better than this!

PM me your addie.

I was not happy with the Koni Yellows on my Z33 paired up with H&R springs. Compared to a set of KW3's that are fully adjustable w compression/rebound, not limited to only compression like the Koni Yellows. Maybe Koni's are good for the track, but too harsh of a ride for DD imo.

I am hoping for a new reworked strut on the 2012 Z34 to swap out with my 09OEM struts paired up with Swifts.

Darn I was hoping to get away with the end pieces also....hummm cost just went up another $90+25. Still want these.

Nice, I was up there three weeks ago, then up PCH to Point Reyes Station. Try the stretch form Fort Ross to Leggett, that will wring out the Z.

Hopefully Ill get my Z back from the body shop today. If not today, tomorrow. Its only been a week and Im dying to get back in the drivers seat!!

ProfessorDave 11-03-2011 07:21 AM

I drove the Z to work today, without having to scrape the windows. Gotta be a good sign for the rest of the day, right?!?

MJB 11-03-2011 06:20 PM

A couple quick pics. I just got my wheels back from having them powder coated semi-gloss black. Was able to get the tires mounted up today and take it out for a drive. I'm going to get the emblems and door handles painted black, and of course get some tint. Exhaust, springs, HFC's next on the list.

The only thing I did today with the Z was cover it back up with the cover after walking through the parking garage on my normal stroll to work (across the street) and seeing that someone had taken the car covers half way off the Z and my GF's Camaro probably to look for radars and what not. My 3000gt just got broke into about 3 weeks ago for the touchscreen display. Was pissed, gotta get viper alarm now! I'm gonna woop some a$$ if I find out who it was

Alchemy 11-03-2011 08:14 PM

Didnt get mine back from the body shop today but Im def pickin her up tomorrow. Cant wait , my foot will not be kind to the gas pedal on the way home.

I don't blame you for being pissed.

Looks like you've gotten some extra goodies on the ride lately! I truly think you made the best choice, going with blue and all! :)

Time to update your photo album!

Thanks. For some reason I couldn't figure out how to post larger pictures in my album but on any other post I can, so all updates are on my members gallery page.

I just have the Aero jacket lip kit all the way around with the Z store's Carbon fiber fang cover and upper trim piece.... All of my detailed photos from my DSLR are on my journal page "Dallaz 370"

MJB, wheels looking nice.

Alchemy, what happened to your Z for it to spend a few days in the shop?

Dallaz, damn shame on the break-in. Hope your insurance took care of it.

Well actually I'm radio-less in the 3k for now cause it was an aftermarket touch screen display and we only keep full coverage on the Z and Camaro. O well, could have been worse. They left the amps and subs in the back which is weird but I guess they wanted to be in n out so they just took the screen. All of the stuff in my center console and glove box were taken out, rummaged through, and left on the passenger seat/floor, gas door popped open, and doors left unlocked afterwards for me to find it days later (cause we hardly drive the cars). Now I make it a point on my way to and from work to go by them and check on them

Skeeterbop 11-04-2011 01:54 AM

Sucks to here that your car was broke into.

Wheels are looking nice MJB!

today is the first time my car didn't move for more than 12 hours. I decided to walk to work and it didn't get driven until I went to get dinner. But, I did make up a to-do/checklist of mods for my car over in my album. Also decided no matter how much i do to it, the body will maintain a very subtle look to it. If it gets any body kit added to it, that will be last.

Deer ran out in front of me back in August. Hit it at about 45 mph. Car held up amazingly well, only slightly bent the hood. Bumper got a few small spider cracks in the paint and they replaced that too. Ill have it back by the end of the work day:tup:

Feel ya. Had this happen to my murano. I was the genious that left a hand-built classical guitar, radar detector and gps in the car at the time. They took everything valuable and left the car a mess:bs::barf:

I finished my break-in on the way to work. Can't wait for lunch, cause I'm hungry for acceleration!
