|
installing my gen3s tomorrow !! .. hopefullyit wont be a "how to break a 370z" instruction lol
|
Haven't been on much this week. Pretty busy getting ready for Irene, both at work and at home. Finished tucking the Zs into the garage last night and have the Xterra parked sideways against the door. I expect that they will be just fine. Going to pick up my son-in-law's R32 this morning to bring it to the house.
Good luck to evenyone along the coast! Glad to see it is not as strong as originally projected. http://www.the370z.com/members/beach...pped-irene.jpg |
Swapped in used Nismo exhaust today. Not much louder but it seems to breath a little freer.
|
Contemplating my first mod for the z. A shift knob lol. Really thinking I'm gonna settle on the black aluminum nismo knob from the Z store. Washed and detailed the z yesterday.
|
beach- your 300ZX's looking mean.
motored my Z this am, followed by a quick QD. i also re-adjusted my seat to a click straighter position as i was getting real lazy and slipping down the seat looking like a gangsta while motoring. :D also adjusted my craftssquare mirrors to match the new seating position and gently locked it down. :p also took some snaps of my ramp extension for guard dad and posted them up in this ramp thread. oh yah, my Z turned 2 yesterday. :D |

Springs went out today. Of course there's a chance the USPS plane carrying them gets caught in the hurricane and crashes in the ocean and only one person survives and holds onto the package as a way of maintaining his sanity while living off a nearby island until he finally decide to build a raft and get rescued by a passing ship only to return home to find that his wife has moved on and remarried but then remembers the package and delivers it to you years later.
Pretty small chance, though. |

Took it for a Canyon Cruise :)
Air Temps were in the 90's and oil temp barely peaked 205 |
Took my cover off. Too windy.
Watching trees fall in the back yard. Thankfully, I don't have any trees near the driveway . |
Hang in there, LunaZ!
Thoughts and prayers go out to all of your friends up north still dealing with the storm. We don't have any damage. Lost power over night but it is back on already. Hope all are as lucky. |
I hope that at the end of it all, each of you that weathered the hurricane can put a line in their signatures that read "Not a single Z was killed during the passing of Irene" or something similar!
Stay safe guys! |
The hurricane is officially weaksauce here in hunterdon cty nj. I dub thee Hurricant Iweak.

I was living on the northshore of Lake Pontchartrain when Katrina hit New Orleans, and had 25 pine trees drop in my yard and not one hit the house. Unfortunately, two trees dropped in my next door neighbor's yard on another house and sliced through from the peak of the roof to the slab. Best wishes to all affected and stay safe. |
Well that was boring.
|
Motored my Z this am and QD'ed afterwards. Was 70F, sunny... perfect weather and great drive.
Gassed her up as well. :) hummmm... next season I might consider running my stock wheels again. Nothing wrong with my weds, just image change. |
Been without power since 5am. No F1 race for me. Trying to stay off of the interwebs so I don't see the results. Kind of bored. What did people do for fun before electricity?
I loaned my chain saw to a friend last big storm we had here, so I can't even start on making firewood. |
Damn its barely doin anything outside, storm almost gone and NOW we lose power. Tons of outages. Looks like power may be down awhile:(
|
Nice to see you guys are ok though, you never know what could happen. We were lucky to have a generator back in CT which was always amazing when the power went out.
I drove the Z back to school yesterday, I'm scoping out a new parking spot this semester. I'm thinking about going up to the graduate campus and parking in the parking garage but it's a long walk to get there. |

I say it's high time to go a callin' on your friend to get that chainsaw back! When I borrowed my buddy's I had it back to him in three day's time, cleaned AND oiled! :icon17: |
Just removed the weight that's in the hatch.

Hopefully Irene weakens and dissipates for you guys...
For me today, the Z is my medicine...lol. Let me explain. I wasn't feeling up to par today, just a little bleh... stomach a little turny. Anyways, I decided to still push through with my errands today and went for a drive. Needless to say, I felt MUCH better after my drive :) The Z is natural stimulant and medicine hehe... Also, detailed the Odyssey today... what a beast :( Layered with Souveran. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...1/DSC_0089.jpg |
