I really think the plasti dip is something to do for a temp basis..just to see if you would really like the mod before committing to it.

I just missed the construction that was done in our building parking lot after I left yesterday. No one coned it but my usual spot and about 30 others had been jack hammered with 8 inch deep and three foot by three foot holes for some reasons. I go in at 5:30 a.m. so it is still dark but saw them in time. Could have been a rough entry. Of course, I had a long discussion with the facility manager, who claimed he did not know any thing about it. RIGHT! The night guard told me was notified but not the number.

I would've completely lost my cool! Yah, there is no way the facility manager new nothing about it.

Glad your Z is ok though.

I have 4 - 5 ramps within a couple miles that are a blast -- within posted speed limits, of course.

I am bummed when they are not empty.

Ricardo2.0 08-24-2011 08:01 PM

Today

As usual i park my red Z away from other cars. I don't need any door dings. And ppl just hate because they spend 30+ K on a camaro and now they wish they have purchased a Z. of course mine is unique LOL..

$125, and I couldn't possibly be happier! Well worth the money and the two hours of my time! Kinda hard to be upset about giving your money to someone that comes to you and does such an awesome job!

mrfairladyz92 08-24-2011 09:05 PM

im thinking of buying the CCFL angel eyes. can anyone tell me the size i need to get. im thinking it should be 95mm same as the 350z but im not sure can someone help me out?

ZeeingAround 08-24-2011 09:14 PM

Washed the car because the new cover came today. Black satin with fleece inside. Also had a rather boring ride in 5:00pm traffic coming back from a meeting.

Nice -- the 40th came with one and I use it after every wash.

happytheman 08-24-2011 10:01 PM

Nice! That cover looks pretty good. I used to put one on my last car...and it was such a PIA to put on by yourself when it got to be really breezy out.

Very cool, indeed.

Nice cover! I get too worried about any cover rubbing/touching my paint. The z stays in the 3rd stall, so worse it gets is dust...easy to clean.

Speaking of dust, today I qd'd the z with fk425. And the other bit of news, my long awaited new custom plates arrived!!!!

happytheman 08-25-2011 06:47 AM

Vanity plates? Nice! I have thought about getting one too.

I totally agree. Its a great way to experiment. I wanted to do my fangs for awhile but didnt know if I was gonna like it. As soon as I heard people talkin bout PD I ran out and got a few cans. Its great, you can paint away worry free.:happydance:

I've never used my cover. It's still sitting in the bag, hanging in my garage.

Yeah definitely get custom tags. It's a must for me, esp on my toy cars. I tend to change mine once a year, sometimes twice. It's only 25 bucks a year.

Well looks like vacation is ending early. Cape May County in NJ has a mandatory evacuation for tomorrow due to Irene hitting. 100mph wind and 10 inches of rain possible. My gf and I are packing up now, going to dinner and getting my Z the hell outta here tonight to try to beat the madness that will occur tomorrow. Dang you mother nature!!!

Stay safe. We only have to deal with earthquakes, wildfires, psychos and democrats in California. I feel lucky.

I like looking at the hanging bag everytime I walk into my garage:icon17:

happytheman 08-25-2011 10:04 PM

Hanging bag? Is that akin to a sack perhaps? And you leave said sack in the garage? :shakes head::tup:

Nothing Z related, but drove 450 miles in 7 hours last night from Olympia WA to Yreka WA and am about to leave for the next 700 miles back home to Newport Beach. Can't wait to get back to the Z, wipe her down and then I have to move into school tomorrow.

Today: drove Zena to gym and work, and admired my new tags. Hopefully take pm off to go have some sushi with a buddy, and enjoy a nice short/mid drive.

Last night: installed my new tags, lovin' the new standard black writing for regular plates!!! :) Upon removal of my Nismo frame tho, I noticed that the old plate and bumper where frame used to touch, left some slight marks on there. So I will have to buff that out this weekend. So for the new set up, I used electrical tape around the edges of the frame to prevent it from marking the new plate and bumper ;)

I also took her out for a short drive, then snapped this pic, after running some errands :)

I seriously need better back drops though... my neighborhood sucks. I want to go back downtown some night, when it's empty.

Thinking of putting in 25mm rear 20mm front spacers at stock height. Anyone see a problem?

I've heard of others doing this with the stock wheel/tire combo w/out issues. In for pics!! :)

happytheman 08-26-2011 10:10 AM

Just thought I might make you all jealous by taking a peek at where I park while at work! Yes, before you ask...it's nearly always this empty!!

Nick911sc 08-26-2011 10:12 AM

It would be a shame with alllll that free parking if you curbed your rim backing in! Be careful!!

PapoZalsa 08-26-2011 10:14 AM

Bought lowering springs and ready to order the rear camber kit on THmotorsport PM me.....

However the Z will be in hybernation during this weekend due to Hurricane Irene.
