yah, NXT techwax is pretty good stuff. i think one of the easiest to use for off-the-shelf.

motored my Z this am. was a great drive. no idiots out this am today. :D :p

QD'ed afterwards, cleaned the interior glass, wheels, dressed the tires.
proceeded to wash the Fit afterwards, cleaned the interior and touched up some chips it had on the hood in prep for winter. im too tired and car looks too boring to do the sealant so im going to pass. :D

SPOHN 10-09-2011 11:37 AM

Bought me a GoPro for track days and other pleasures.

Try the Ultimate -- is is superior to NXT, ease-of-use-wise.

Good purchase Spohn, I love my Go-Pro. I suggest looking into the LCD backpack.

I have a fellow Z owners 2011 370 for the day. Im blacking out his fangs and rear as a neighborly gesture. His has the backup cam which is a nice little addition, kinda wish it was on my 09 though I prob wouldnt use it much. Another thing I noticed is his clutch pedal feels totally different than mine. Much softer. Strange. I prefer the feel of mine much more. Did they change something since the 09 model??

On another note I saw Fast Five last night. The lack of cars in it made it a complete disappointment IMO. In a scene Torreto goes to race a dude w a GT3 RS for pinks, he needs a fast car. Well they just flash back to the garage with the Porsche pulling in after he had won it. THEY SKIPPED THE RACE:facepalm: To boot the final chase scene involves Dodge f-kin Chargers and a completely unbelievable senario. Ugh.

SPOHN 10-09-2011 01:23 PM

Yea the LCD backpack is a must. Request for Bday gifts in a couple months.

It was supposed to be less racing/cars and more action movie. I need to see it... I love the F&F series partly because it's so stupid and fake and ricer it's just fun to watch, so I'm not sure if I like the idea of a somewhat serious Fast Five. :icon17:

Nice video, RandyD.

Alchemy 10-09-2011 04:11 PM

Just got back from a cruise.. As luck would have it as I pulled out of my road a Vette z06, 2 Lotus Elise's and a Viper pulled out in front of me from the road down the street. I quickly jumped on the opportunity to join the pack. It just so happened they were hitting up the same river road I was. We carved her up like a Thanksgiving turkey and went on our merry ways  The one Elise was white and clearly had work done to it. The exhaust sounded LOUD and amazing!! Kinda makes me regret the Z just a tad as it was between the Elise, Cayman and Z when I bought the Z. Only reason Im not in the Lotus was I feared repair costs and actually finding someone around here that knew how to work on them. Plus Im a Z fanatic so I ended up going Z. Man that Elise looks like fun though!!

lol today was really sunny but the water was ice-cream-headache inducing cold.

You would be surprised how good the surf gets in Jersey, I hear of secret spots all the time in that part of the country

Lol, I hear NJ surfers say that, I just dont believe it. Although I was in Wildwood when Hurricane Katrina was about to roll in and the waves looked super tasty.

Wish I got out when I lived down in St Augustine. There was a solid surf influence there when I called it home for a bit in the late 1990's.. Beautiful area, a little too much tourism but absolutly gorgeous. I would love to live there again someday

happytheman 10-09-2011 07:56 PM

Meh, if high humidity and loooooong summers are your thing.... I much prefer the cool weather and wish we got more of it here.

Alchemy 10-09-2011 09:05 PM

Dont be fooled the humidity is high in NJ. I would Love long summers. The older I get the harder winter is to endure. The only reason I stick around is to have access to snow. I dont know how I would survive a winter without snowboarding. Its my life blood. Even more important to me than cars, which makes it damn important:)

Took a bud of mine out on a canyon road and showed him just what our cars could do. :rofl2: Needless to say, he hadn't ever done one before. :icon17:

Hopefully he'll send me the vids he took and I can get them uploaded. :stirthepot:

Just finished swapping my HKS exhaust for a Fast Intentions 18" carbon fiber version. Haven't even started the car yet. Don't want to wake the neighbors.

Snowshoe got 4 inches of snow the otherday I heard. Ill be doin the normal, lame, day trips to the Pocono's and hitting up Vermont a few times. I love Vermont. Weaving in and out of tightly knit pine trees in the Vermont woods is one of my fav things to do:tup: I work at a ski shop and this time of year is so exciting. All the new product is going on the shelves. The reps from all the compaines are coming in to talk about their new product, and hand out free swag of course. The other week we had a few pros from Rome snowboards in the store, LNP being one of them.

Purchased it Friday and drove it home.

Washed it and cleaned out the interior last night.

dang, that sucks, mr.onzedge. :(

do you use weatherbug on your droid by any chance? radar + barometric pressure drop will usually tell how eminent rain is. i use it all the time when i take my Z out and my forecast is about 99% accurate using this method. :) the one percent is usually water falling from leaves or bird crap.
