I'm very sorry I started this whole debate. All I did was talking about what I did today! |
Ken, according to some folks, your mirrors should theoretically be considered rice.
Opinions are one thing... but what people need to learn is how to convey them. There's always a better way to divulge one's opinions, especially on something that a LOT of people here spent a lot of time researching, saving up $$$ to buy, installing them, and loving them. Just going about and bashing it based on little knowledge is rude and unjustified. Sorry, but that just really gets me. I guess, Ken, Red, and Onzedge, we're old school. I am showing my age. Kids nowadays. |
:icon18: Wow, I go to a meeting and come back to a food fight. You guys are killing me. :)
I know fart cans. I have seen and heard plenty of Honda's with them. I don't consider any of the previously mentioned exhaust system such. I am old, real old! And I love the sound of a nicely tuned exhaust. I guess that is from growing up racing 2 stroke motocross bikes. You guys have heard of those, right? :ugh2: |
I also don't really consider the exhausts for the 370z fart cans.

My point is simple.... we obviously don't think it's rice or fart cans or whatever right? But let's say we did "think" it was, (because opinions are never right or wrong. they're just that, OPINIONS)... we KNOW that the term is offensive to a LOT of people who in fact have them installed and love them for what they are.... F.I., berk, ark, etc or WHATEVER it is for that matter. But how do we convey the message that we don't like them? We say things like "it's not for me" or "too flashy". Sigh.... I guess no use me preaching how to properly interact publicly or on a public forum. Some of the audience intermingled here are not at that level, so I would be talking to a wall. Anyways, I'm off my soapbox now. On to thread topic... So what did you do with your DSLR today??? :tiphat: |
|
Quote:
Hahaha, I was going to go with hella flush on the DSLR but that is the DEAL! |

so is everyone using this centry spring then for the clutch return spring?
72577 - COMPRESSION SPRING - Part Characteristics | Century Spring Corp. |

It is a great mod. |
Good change of topic Ken... very sly ;)
Yeah more seriously, you guys need to enlighten and convince me of this need to swap clutch springs. I still didn't get an answer as to what it offers versus the OEM (which I am happy with) |
Quote:
G2Z- i think wat happens is that spring loads when you press the clutch in and it makes the clutch pedal kinda pop back out when you're releasing the pedal for an unnatural feel during clutch engagement. it's that last 50% or so of the throw of the pedal that feels springy...kinda like the old STI springy pedal feel. with this new spring with lower spring rate the pedal doesnt jump back out as fast. ive gotten use to my clutch and it's more of the delayed throttle that bothers me but if the clutch feel can be improved i suppose it's worth a try. :p |
hmmmmmmm I might have to look into this.
|
yah, have to buy 4 of them so if i ever buy them i will need to sell 3. im not committed yet. i need to remove the stock spring to see how it feels first.
|
it's the other way around... i need 3 of them and selling one. ;) jk
the spring is compressed when you release the clutch, decompressed when clutch is pressed. my post above states the reverse.... |
I got dibs on one if you buy
