The trustmaster is a very nice wheel setup from what ive seen. I have been trying to break my gt force, pictured above, for over a year now so I can upgrade to the Logitech g27 but the damn thing wont break!!! Seriously the most bulletproof $130 I have ever spent.

G27 is nice. I have a G25 that I broke a while back. Need to upgrade to the G27 and then blow $700 on CST Pedals. :icon17:

The only gripe I have w the G27 is that you cant lockout the 6sp to make it a slap shifter like on the G25. The steering wheel and pedals on a G25-27 are amazing and have a great feel and weight to them. The first time I used a G25 I was blown away pedal feel!! Its almost real.

Nothing yet today to the car ...waiting on a friend to help with install of DLR LED strip, parking lights, turn signals both front and rear and reverse lights...all going to LED's.

Will be doing three Z34's today, two with the above mentioned and one Z with just the LED strip. May just turn this day into a DYI party...

Krispy Kreme doughnuts came back to the Sacramento region, probably start him out on a sugar high, then some Pacifico beer as a chaser.

This talk with car controllers is dangerous territory for me cause I luv simulation games. :D
I don't want to have to spend money like I did on my DSLR. Lol

Today motored my Z. :D. Was a good drive, better if I didnt have to deal with this tailgating loser trash broad behind me who then proceeded to pass me which was fine but then swirved in and out of traffic (looked like she really needed to pee due to middle aged body), and the stupid chingaro landscape truck that crossed 3 lanes to make a turn while swirving in front of me. I blew my horn and had to slam my brakes thinking damn it now I got more brake dust to clean off while the fukers rushed to make their penny.

The guy in the passenger seat even yelled out in pretty native inglish 'you got good brakes, you should use them'. I didn't even look at him but was amazed they even have spec racers in mexico.

Geez, where did you find this post? That was like a very long time ago. You reading every frikken page? :D well, I think it is healthy to stereo-type people this day and age. We all suck together globally and should make fun of each culture to learn how about ourselves to make a more new neutral culture for everyone.

My girlfriend seriously hates me for all the time I spend sitting in that seat racing. Its amazing how real stuff is getting. All thats missing now are the G forces. The feedback you get from the wheel is so cool, you can actually feel every bump in the road.:driving:

maybe your GF can tilt the seat backwards each time you press the throttle? :D

and have her tilt the seat left when you're turning left to make it real confusing. lol

and you knowz wat happens when you're racing in the rain. :rofl2: *gf brings out bucket of water*

Went to the Mid-A Z owners meet in the morning. Grabbed some lunch, then detailed both the Z and Altima.

Fire 10-08-2011 06:21 PM

Had a good morning. Ordered my battery tender as the local WalMart social club doesn't stock it. Then had a nice kenchan putting in sta bil and topping off the tank. Then bought some texas hots for lunch. Had a nice time cruising topless :tiphat: But my afternoon sucked. Can I ask everybody to please wear a helmet when operating your atv's and motorcycles. Even if you live in a backwards area that doesn't require it. All I have to say is that ambulance calls for people that wreck at speeds over 40 mph and involve concrete sux.

370Zsteve 10-08-2011 06:37 PM

Used it to transport my golf clubs!

wheee! 10-08-2011 07:14 PM

Put the winter tires on... :shakes head:

I like the wheel, but am not a fan of the pedals to be honest. Take a look at the CST setups. Load cells for more accurate braking feel. They are pricey, though.

Yeah the brake pedal is a bit odd, a little too stiff, but it still kicks the sh!t outta my GT Force pedals. Any wheel is great in my book, I use pretty much the bottom of the barrel wheel and its beyond fun and imersive. I will never play a racing game on a controller ever again, I havent for years.

 Meguiars Love. I was a big NXT fan -- well still am -- but try the Ultimate. It is very good stuff.
