You shouldn't stop buying things you love just because someone else will take it from you. If you go on living like that, then you will never be happy. Yes it sucks but that's life. Life will never be perfect. I totaled my 370z in 2021 and bought the new 2024 Nissan Z this year. Insurance cut me a check for 15k and use a bit of that money to get myself a car while I waited for the new Z. Yet it took me 4 years but that's because I did not want to pay those crazy markups.
