Default Not the oil pressure I was looking for ...

I finally got around to installing an oil pressure gauge. Per the gauge my pressure increases with oil temperature and goes super high. The only time I see a pressure below 60 lbs is on a cold start.

What should I start looking at? No abnormal noises and very little oil consumption between changes every 3k.

The car is driven but definitely no abused. 34R thermostatic oil cooler and an oil pan spacer.

It's normal. +100psi on a cold start is normal.

This isn’t a cold start. Oil temperature is over 200° and I’m sitting idling with a 142 psi pressure.

That’s normal?

Something is wrong with your gauge. Not sure what you are using.

It could be that your signal wire is too thin and it's getting some noise so the reading is inaccurate.
