Ah but I don’t think it’s that small of an oversight when I drop 5k on a kit... I guess this was a budget kit and buyers should know that not much r&d probably went into it

I mean, it is half the price of most kits for these cars.
If you gotta buy a used set of manifolds to finish it off that's not that big of deal IMO.
The rule of thumb when going forced induction, or doing an engine swap - Take however you budget for the price of the conversion, and double it.
There will always be unforeseen expenses no matter how well you think you plan.

5K is chicken shiet money. Go buy two manifolds and have at it.
