I have been playing with cars for over 50 years and have had so many cars i cant remember them all, could be early onset alz as i am 66 years on this planet. what i do know is the 370z i have had for a year and a half ,is one of the most fun ,basic ,no bs machines i have had the pleasure of owning . and none of the bs that follows the ownership of units like carrera, california, cambacorsa ,ect.getting raped after purchas is not my idea of fun .in all my years this the first i have herd of doug and after scanning his vid i find him to be a boring ,***. why does a car have to change every few years to be considered good? tweaking it over 10 years has created a fine machine capable of embarrassing many on a tight road course.f..k doug

I had a 1974 Husky 400CR that WOULD break your foot if you worn tennis shoes starting it and it kicked back. The guy I bought it from sold it for that reason. It broke his foot. It almost broke mine a couple of times.

Lets get more basic. Most can't swing a hammer or use a shovel. I got my kid working for me this summer so he can buy his own car. It's everything i can do to not either scream at him or call his mother and ask WTF she did the last 10 years. he only has a month left before going back to school and I'm not sure if I'll make it that long.

And how many can read a tape measure? I know of some engineers who can't. I had one helping me measure a metal piece on time. I was holding the end, and he pulled out the tape measure to the other end. I asked him what it was. He told me 10, 6, and 7 small lines. He was trying to tell me 10ft, 6 and 7/8".

Doug's review is more than fair, I actually thought he'd score it a lot worse, since the Z has fallen so far behind modern competition. He knocks on it for how little features it has, but if he consistently does this with all the vehicles he reviews, it'd be stupid if he gave it more points for "being good for the time". He never pretends to be an expert, but he certainly has experience reviewing vehicles.

It's amazing so many of you trash him while also saying "i'll stick to people who know what they're talking about" - why? If anybody listened to experts, none of us would own Z cars.

I've had "three little lines" said to me way to many times. And lets not get started on engineers

Edit: add architects to that list too, you should not be allowed to draw anything without 5 years minimum apprenticeship in that field

When I worked for AquaTech. We built the water treatment system for the new Saturn car factory. At the shop, we preassembled the whole system. Everything fit perfectly. Disassemble and shipped the system to the site. Another crew located and anchored the 8 tanks. Installed all of the piping but for tank #8. The piping to #8 was 2ft short. The engineer who was responsible for the lay-out got chit can.

LMAO!

I am a millennial, albeit the earlier part of the group, but work my @$$ off and hard to live the life I have. Most of the millennial group, IMO, feel entitled and don’t want to work for sh*t (if you are offended by this comment, then you probably fall under this category). Even at my job, I got promoted a few times fairly quickly, even above people who were once my superiors.

I know plenty of architects that have been practicing for 25+ years and still don't know wtf they are doing

"That's how I've always done it" is not an acceptable excuse for being stupid. That just means you've been doing it wrong for a long fuckin time, dumbass

I find some good ones here and there but the pile you have to sift through is massive. I did just get 2 brothers, 21 and 24 or so, that both want to work and are not complete dumb***es. But the rest want to get paid $5000 an hour while staring at their phone for 6 hours a week.

I don't deal with them anymore but when i was building homes the mistakes where outrageous. Point loads outside the roof line, walls sticking up above the roof, bad math.....

I had to subscribe to this guy's YouTube's channel and I know what he says is semi-accurate but in general, he tries to be funny not knowing that some of his trashings make the actual owners of the vehicles he is reviewing unhappy as really how can you tell how a car feels if you base it on having it less than a day. I have a friend who bought a Miata and hates it yet Dougie says its the best car in the world....he is entertaining thou if you have nothing else to do but look at his channel. Thanks to him I'm switching to porn or maybe the channel called A Woman Driven at least she has nice hams...
