My suggestions would be to put money aside and have plans to come back when the time get's close. I helped my friend get back to the states several years

My suggestions would be to put money aside and have plans to come back when the time get's close. I helped my friend get back to the states several years ago. He was diagnosed with lung cancer and barely made it back to his family in time. They held him over in Japan due to his health. The Dr.'s let him continue because they knew he didn't have long and would need oxygen to make the trip in a couple more days. He passed away 2 months after his return. My advice would be to stay here in the states.
