With bolts-ons, there is a lot of truth to that. The factory has already picked the low-hanging fruit.

Totally this. I personally did such minor work just to address throttle response.

I don't want to put down this car or people trying to have fun with it, but if you want a faster car....go get one. A supercharger to go with this car's handling sounds like a lot of fun, but it's not a practical investment for me.

That's the conclusion I draw from reading many, many, many posts here on this forum, plus riding/driving friends' Z cars. With the exception of turbo installations, which are impressive, the improvements are mostly in perception rather than real. As to aftermarket turbos...the only thing more impressive than their performance is the headaches and pains in the *** that seem to universally follow.
