12.5k isnt terrible for oem rears. Maybe some all seasons may be more apt for your ride, budget and expectations.

I get about 10,000 out of my rears. Sometimes a lot less if I do a lot of trackdays.

Too many times this season I've been caught in sudden downpours from 'pop-up' thunderstorms. The car is squirrelly as hell in that kind of stuff...

I have never had a problem. Use it as a practice season for making your inputs smoother.
