The bad news is I think I’ve caught the mod bug as I’m already researching what I should buy/install next.

We are finally getting Florida weather, long overdue.Good week to install my front Eibach sway bar also.Going to do a baseline “seat of the pants” run then install the bar.:tiphat:

Who's doing the install for you?

Doing it myself, doesn’t take long. One previous poster suggested that it took longer to remove the under tray.:tiphat:

Awesome stuff. BTW, what kind of beer do you like? I will bring over a 'twofer' just for you and hand you the tools while you install mine. What the heck, I'll even order the pizza too. :tiphat:

Spooler 05-02-2018 06:00 PM

Got in my new front steels and XP8 brake pads all around. These Z1 2 piece rotors have lasted a while with the XP8 pads. I have over 80k miles. Can't complain. Gotta get them done this weekend so I can put some miles on them before Zdayz.

I'd be happy to do it, no charge.

You ever try the XP10's on the front?

radix023 05-03-2018 08:34 AM

Frankly I'm a little surprised it took this long, but today was the day I hit the rev limiter for the first time. (2nd gear)

As Rusty said have you tried the Carbotech XP10’s brake pads on the front? I ran the Carbotech XP10 on the front and XP8’s on the rear for my last event they work amazing with lots of stopping power. You just have to bed in the Carbotech brake pads in correctly though.

Installed a new PWJDM shift knob. Finally got around to it this weekend. Dreaded shift knob buzz is now totally gone!

Don't lie. They let you go because it has something to do with you taking forever to paint your damn door handles

They told me that it wasn't personal, just business.. but that the reason specifically was because DeliriousClam won't paint his door handles.

Finally got around to installing my Eibach front sway bar this afternoon. Just a short drive today, but will do the local vineyard backroads tomorrow for awhile. Happy so far no reason not to be, it's an improvement.:tiphat:

I've been looking for a shifter like that. How do you like it?

I took the advice of the vendor due to his race car experience set up and set it to the softer of the two settings, the bolt hole closest to the end of the bar, due to the fact that our roads are not table top smooth and may get caught in heavy rains occasionally. It’s a more stable setting for the wife too ,no surprises.:tiphat:

Understood. I drove mine with the soft setting for a while and it was definitely an improvement over stock, but switched to the firmer setting over a year ago and left it that way. Absolutely love it, but it's good that we've got the flexibility to switch between the two settings.

Airwilf 05-07-2018 07:05 PM

I’ll probably try the stiffer setting, may as well since we have that option. You never know, I may prefer it. Will keep you posted.

Once you go stiff. You'll never go back. :driving:

mishuko 05-07-2018 09:12 PM

Pulled trigger on ps4s, install on monday. Hit bars on inner side but still a tad above wears on my rears. Indy 285/19s are mia unfortnately. Tire contact was reccomending bf comp2s but i had one and was not impressed and switched to indys right away.

Bad news... i think i may need a new clutch soon. Hard launch on first has a sling shot feel (tbd is it cause slipping over paint the gripping right as i hut asphalt?)

I cant remember but i went mid lvl and high stiff on my sways and like it. Keeps body flat through corners

TreeSemdyZee 05-07-2018 09:13 PM

Installed Z1 Urethane transmission mount.
Now it sounds like I have someone humming along with the engine acceleration.

Along with the Urethane engine mounts, it's definitely not a quiet cruiser.
Easiest part install I've ever done. Hardest part was getting my rontundedness in and out from under the car multiple times.
