Rear panal damage is huge since welded to frame terms of fixing. Fact i was able to get out and walk away is the best outcome. Cars paid off may decide next car.

Technically no but for driving conditions yes. Too much stop and go + sun setting. Cops were cool. Tow company chill. Having it towed to a shop for insurance to look at it mondays

WOW that really blows, glad you " seem " ok but get checked out! and don't sign off on any medical stuff, neck & shoulder stuff can take time to show up and last for a long time.
As far as challenger or charger ... four door or two Both are very cool cars!

So why the rush???

Looks great!!

mishuko 07-22-2018 05:00 PM

Thanks everyone for supportive words. Ego is definitely hurt cause first car + lots of good memories. I have no regrets as the first car. Everyone here have helped me! Great community.

I am not sore at all. My body is pretty tough so thats a plus. I think if the impact was more head on i would have been in more trouble.

Those ray rims tough!

Tomorrow going to be awkward when i call my shop to cancel my appointments

Installed the Z speed undertray for my Nismo today when I was doing an oil change. Not too much longer and I will be taking her in for upgrades.

Finally installed the intakes I've had sitting around for weeks because of the heat. The newer AEM ones. Unfortunately I didn't realize they sent me two of the same tops for the heat shields until halfway through installation, so it's unfinished for now :/ They sent one out to me without any hassle, good customer service.

Quick review, def power increase (not huge, but noticeable), even after hooning around town after install the intake tubes were warm but not hot like metal would be. Good response, but no different than stock from what I can tell. Uses the factory intake routing.

But the sound. Oh god yes. Under throttle at mid-rpms it's a nice growl, then at the upper rpm's it just howls. That's mainly why I bought it tbh, but it surprised me how much louder it is.

Physically i am good, mentally pretty damn short fuse.

I am fortunate those rays are strong and took the brunt of the kinetic energy. Deep down i knew it was a writeoff. Had that slight hope but after that damage i dont know if i could be 100% confident.

How you like it? I wanted one for a long time, and found this one 2011 with
50K super clean. Now is time to let the Xterra go.
