Yeah, you can come up and install the kit. You got to bring a dog with you at no charge. Mail the kit first. When it arrives. I'll call you and tell you the kit was lost in the mail. Then I will install the kit on my Z.

your stereo setup is so professional I am surprised you went the bazooka route. They do sound pretty good though.

Wished i would have started today,!

SennaZ 02-15-2018 07:47 PM

Washed the old girl and gave her a nice coat of collinite 845 on top of it. Paint was still nice and smooth from last time I clay'd a few months ago.

It's a temporary solution. I'm tired of driving around without any sort of bass other than the SI drivers in the doors. They sound excellent, but you lose the bass at anything above 30 mph.

The Bazooka is a dual 8 ohm unit which I'll wire in parallel for 4 ohms (which also handles more power than the single 4 ohm unit), getting a sweet 600 watts to it!

It'll be here Saturday, so hopefully it'll show up soon enough that I can pop it in the Z before heading to the Ace Cafe for the CFZC meet.

As I tend to hold it at 10 and 2 its more cosmetic but I like it.

If I force myself to use 9 and 3 then yes it fits like a glove and I should retrain myself.

Drove out to meet up with the Central FL Z Club today at the Ace Cafe in Orlando this evening. I (we) had a really great time. And a great group of people and Z's! We will be going again!

Nah... Just at the crank.

With about 45 minutes of tweaking, it sounds pretty good actually. Tomorrow I'll pull the mic out there and let the system do its thing. After that, I'll take my laptop out there and run REW EQ on it to tweak it even further.

Washed the pollinated Z today. Ah, I love the springtime and a fresh coat of pollen on the car after I wash it.

Re-charged the K&N cone filters (Two day job), polished the Fast Intentions Muffler Cans and tips - she looks awesome. Now waiting on lunchtime so I can drive her to go meet the GF for a bite... All I can think of is the "Vroooom" when I turn her on (uh, the car, not the GF... although I do the latter as well :tiphat:... )

Leingod 02-19-2018 02:41 PM

I think mine is in storage somewhere still

ChopsZ 02-19-2018 02:46 PM

Did some more tweaking of the Bazooka sub today with crossover point, crossover slope, levels and time alignment. EQ is flat, and man this little thing thumps and is quite "crisp" and tight. People who say these subs don't sound good and are boomy, you AIN'T doing it right.

The way I have it dialed in right now, you can't even tell the Bazooka is behind you. It sounds like it's just the front stage playing, but with bass... The way it's supposed to be.

And just for fun... The view from up front.

I admired the first post track day look of my wheels.

Covered in brake dust and rubber boogers.
