I’m getting my pumpkin with 4.09s back today and installing it tonight! Quick question I’ll be putting in the Z1 front diff bushings(main bushing is already in) and I was wondering if you reuse that metal spacer that is above the stock bushings.

Damn... If you had gotten a kit from leatherseats or katskinz or something I would be updating my wishlist!

Are you talking about the black spacers in this pic? I didn't put them back in. I just checked since I couldn't remember... However, I'm not sure if I was supposed to :-). Anyway it's been operating superbly...

Update: I checked the installation guide on the Z1 website and it doesn't show the reuse of those.

Ordered a new air fuel sensor after the installation of the art pipes apparently broke it. :(

Dodged a bullet today. I just about got rear ended again. This time I saw it coming and chose the median that was a big mud pit. Traction control kick in and I sunk. Oh well. Car is fine just some grass sods to clean off underneath. My neck is good and my car is good. I just got a tow bill for someone to winch me out. I'll pay that any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Noop, I need mud tires.... LOL The state patrol was looking at the car and saying "It doesn't look stuck too bad, see if you can get out." I laughed, with RE11's that are just about gone on the rear. They had to get one of my rear tires on the pavement before I could move. Slick's with grooves just don't cut in muddy grass with a mud puddle on top. The car just sunk. If I get hit again I would not expect anything good. Dead or paralyzed would be my options. Hey, the median sounds good. I was happy as could be.

Good to hear that you are OK.

Here's one to heads-up driving!

Did the perpetrator bear any consequences?

Hopefully the perp will get their dose of carma someday. My wife and I had two close calls lately. One asshat drove around her on the left when she was making a left turn. She saw them coming in her mirror and they weren’t paying attention and couldn’t slow down. And some lady pulled out of a side street and I had to swerve to miss her. Maybe we do need self driving cars...

Dern. Was 32 in Winder. It's interesting how we can be so close yet such a temp difference.

Saturday, I did 20mm z1 spacers for my rear wheels (it was a nice excuse to get some thin wall sockets) and figured out how to lower my rear subframe to install the z1 bushing collars. Fairly easy install, but took me a while to figure out what I was doing with the subframe. Never did that before. More on this later when I get to really test the handling improvements.

I disconnected my JDM rear fog light - a few of the LEDs failed. I guess the unit isn't sealed very well. And it's not easy to replace with the aftermarket rear diffuser.

Maybe.... I'm told I'm getting the low mileage discount, yet I pay about 45% more for the Z than my Jeep. Oh well, it's definitely not a deal breaker, just slightly irritating two times a year. :icon08:

When I had my car at Specialty Z for my sc tune, I had them install all the sensors, relays and wiring for my two gauges. Here's a crappy picture of the finished cubby panel I fabricated.

I'll let you get away with that because you're older than me. Actually, only a year. Dammit! :icon14:

Installed the GTR Start/Stop Button to replace the faded stock one.

Looks sexy, just need to get used to it not being back-lit.

Ok, right on. I have the SI trim head as well along with a Fast Intensions TDX Turbo cbe, but stock headers and cats on 91 oct. I have the smaller stillen pulley and plan on getting long tube headers when I get the A2A kit going so I'm curious to see how close I can get to 500hp..

I would think you'll be right up there.
