Put this baby on. AAM S-Line axle-back. Love the sound! Not too loud and just enough growl so you can tell something is going on in the back. The whisper-quiet Nismo stock muffler was unacceptable.

Took the Z all over the Tampa Bay area today running errands... Lots of highways, lots of on/off ramps, and lots of boost!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this car. It never gets old.

Tomorrow morning I head out to Orlando to pick up my new-to-me Amuse replica bumpers!

Look what showed up today!

Well packaged, templates, rivets and instructions all included. They look really nice. I might purchase and install these in a used hood so I'm not cutting up my stock hood.

Wussy chicken. :rofl2:

I e-mailed John before I went on my cruise to hold my vents until I came back. Last night, I e-mailed him telling that I'm back in country and that he can ship mine now. He reply back saying they will be on their way.

Updated the nav package today.

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1513730222

$350 for three years of updates. It's 5 DVDs of data and it takes about 2 hours of sitting in the car with the engine running to install...

The new software for the head unit seems less laggy when doing map things though, so there's that. :D

Will do, although it'll probably be a while before I get around to it.

It's not that I'm scared to cut my hood (ok, I actually am). I save all my stock parts just in case I want to go back to stock. Even when I had my headlights modded I bought an extra set to do the mods on.
I'm pretty impressed with the vents, I think you'll like em.

I'm just squeezing your balls. :rofl2: I save all of my stock parts that I take off in case I decide to do something else.

After getting some news about health 3 months ago and realizing we don't know how much time we have, I somehow got into the mindset that everything I wanted to do the car was going to get done in the next couple of months (within reason). Happy with the exterior 09-14 (Nismo conversion) except for maybe CF side splitters and CF winglets, interior has been converted to all Nismo (09-14). Suspension/wheels are done.

With that in mind decided to redo some things on the car for spring, go back for tests in February, hoping the news is good. Have a ARK Grip II cat back waiting to be put on to replace the current CNT exhaust. EPS 70mm TB's are on their way. Today found a set upper/lower manifold setup at a good price to be ported locally by a shop here. Also ordered a set of Speed Force headers, should be here by the beginning of the year. Going with Admin Tuning intakes to replace the current setup. Still have to decide on the cats and trying to coax a friend into letting me work on the car once I have all the parts.

Car's extended warrantee is up the beginning of March, already came in handy twice with CSC issues, my goal with a tune is 340whp, shall see...

Last few days have been spent working on removing my aluminum crash bar, modifying said bar to accommodate the larger Z1 intake filters, and replacing it. I accomplished the cutting work with a sawzall, a metal blade, and some tapping oil to keep cutting temps down and to keep the aluminum from binding to the blade (worked perfectly). Brought it into work where my coworker tig welded end caps on to keep it rigid (and repaired some of my over zealous cutting) and put it back on the vehicle. Not bad!

OldFart 12-21-2017 05:41 PM

EPS throttle bodies showed up yesterday. I can never leave well enough alone, so I'm polishing them. While looking for the instructions, was reading horror stories about the install/tuning of these. Called RT Tuning down near Philly and they've done of few with these on it, so hopefully good to go. Bought these used so don't feel too bad tearing them apart.
