I wrapped the mirror covers with Black vinyl, and gave her nice polish and wax.

Then of course it was instantly covered in pollen.

Ignored some moron in a Mustang this morning on the way into work. He kept trying to get me to race him. For one, I don't race on the streets, and two, I don't race Mustangs. I value my car and my life too much.

He took off up the on-ramp onto the parkway, flew up behind some cars and hit the brakes so hard, he swerved between lanes for a couple hundred feet, almost losing it and going sideways. Don't know why that all happened. I guess just another typical Mustang driver... Doesn't know how to drive, which is exactly why I wouldn't race a Mustang, even on a track!

Thanks, I took the covers off so I could wrap around the edges. I don’t trust my cutting skills that much lol.

Drove the Z to work :driving:

Spring break traffic and a side road with fresh, smooth asphalt made for some fun and easy power slides this morning. Put a :D on my face.

A Telsa X once tried and I was surprised how close he was... then I looked up the specs and was proud I pulled on him at all.

I get pulled on by Mustangs also. Most times its some crazy cowboy with more balls than brains.I drove a newer Stang that the owner let me try.The car is allways on the edge of traction.Very easy to loose control. To each there own but I would not own Mustang. The Z gives you truer feedback to driver.A lot easier car to drift.

Again with this nonsense. Yeah, because your average SUV or minivan does 0-60 in 5 sec or less and does the 1/4 mile in 13 sec or less.

I swear, I get SOOOOO tired of hearing people complain about these cars being slow when they're clearly not.

:shakes head:

That has been my week driving back and forth to work. Other folks are crazy and they have no where to go. Traffic is backed up. What's the rush? A-holes.

Zingston 03-13-2018 04:33 PM

I was told by an older guy yesterday in Venice FL that I had a nice Porsche... again. I just smiled and said Thank You.

Buzzkill247 03-13-2018 06:41 PM

First set of parts landed today. Was just the teaser package lol Z1 breather silicone for PVC resonator delete, a fancy Z1 oil plug (gotta have a bit of Dino in the car), replacement diff drain plug, and a fill plug (just in case) with gaskets for all.
Tomorrow.... FI 34 row oil cooler lands and Stillen G3 CAI. Then Thursday... the holy grail... order 1820 FI R-HFC and 18"R-TDX with C.F. tubes *drool*
Sunday... Sunday is fun day when it all gets installed and fluid swaps happen!
Anyone wanna buy drop in K&N and post MAF mishi silicone tubes? lol

My Z now harnesses the power of the Sun...

http://charlest.zenfolio.com/img/s/v...81341647-5.jpg

And that's with tinted windows!

The double sided tape that come with these LED's is useless. Park the car, come out to go home and the LED's are laying on the lenses. I need to figure out some better, stronger tape, because it looks like @$$ seeing them just laying on the lenses.

Oh, and a mini-Sun in the back...

Rusty 03-13-2018 10:52 PM

That's bright!

falicfr 03-14-2018 09:51 AM

I had the same problem with the light panel not staying mounted. I purchased very thin 3M double sided tape and have not had any issues.

StevenSlice 03-14-2018 03:47 PM

Pat its hood and hope it the best as i think it has the Steering Lock issue :(

DeliriousClam 03-14-2018 07:25 PM

Chopsz Jesus Christ why so many LEDs?

Buzzkill247 03-14-2018 08:08 PM

welp... there goes option for roadhead ... unless you intend to show off LMAO!

LOL! I didn't design the darn things. In all honesty though, I like a lot of light, and I like cool operating, energy efficient lighting. I like functionality. With that being said, I think they could have been just fine and plenty bright enough with half as many LED's on those boards... And better double sided tape. Right now, they're still laying on the lenses instead of sticking to the housing. I'll fix that this weekend though.

Too distracting to drive while all of that's going on. Plus I don't want to get my shift knob dirty. That's why I found a nice secluded parking lot covered with tall bushes and trees. Just park back in there, turn the car off then back on (so the DRL aren't on - Yes, been there and done that) and do much more than just "roadhead". LOL

Funny, but true story! And a lot more than once! :nutswinger:

JARblue 03-15-2018 08:44 AM

I spent a good bit of time in parking lots over the last few days. Driving it to work plus fun put 47 miles on it since this weekend. I filled her up this morning and she took over 5 gallons of gas. I love being able to quantify my Z enjoyment with single digit MPGs :)

Took mine out for a nice cruise at sunset today.

1987 with t tops. It was pretty good but not perfect...

From the pics, not bad for an 87. And T Tops!!! Nice.

Leingod 03-16-2018 10:16 PM

Any idea if these are just cf rear spats instead of frp? I can't find any more info on them. Just curious if they're actual spats or additions to the frp spats.
