Not exactly with my Z (in my truck) but I drove out to Orlando and scored a Motordyne catback.

Well...........between my arm and having bruised ribs from when my arm gave out the other day while trying to do some wiring inside the Z. I finally ran the wiring from the dash to the rear of the Z inside to the spare tire area. The wiring is for the diff temp sensor and the power wires for the diff pump and fan. Tomorrow........I'm going to try and drop the diff.

Pic's of the wiring. :D

First, let me say that Motordyne does an exceptional job packing their exhaust systems. I can't recall ever receiving any oversize auto parts that were packaged so well.

I've only put a couple of miles on the exhaust so far but I absolutely love the tone. Glad I decided to wait for the back orders to clear rather than snatching up an ARK GRiP.

I've spent the last week trying to figure out my P2A03 code. I cleaned the MAF and replaced the air filters, we'll see if it stays off. I loged the MAFs and primary O2 sensors and both banks looked almost identical to each other so I don't know what could be going on.

Feel your pain. My wife shipped some stuff to Denver last week by UPS. EVERYTHING in the boxes was broken. She spent about 2 hours on the phone with UPS about it. They said they will pay up.

Tokyo Auto Show, no new Z

Well the news is out and it's no news. "I’ll get this out of the way first: no big sports car announcements, contrary to earlier reports (that seemed hard to believe anyway.) No new Nissan Z, no new GT-R, no new Mazda rotary engine.

Toyota didn’t even mention the Supra in the press briefing. They didn’t talk about the rumored high-performance Lexus LC-F either, even though that was a long shot"

Oh well, maybe something for the 50th. anniversary year, 2020. Until then I will hang onto my Z car and love every minute of it:driving:

I actually really like that bed comforter. Been looking for a patched quilt style one for a bit for winter.

jaedub 10-26-2017 08:37 AM

I'm glad the new Z isn't out because that makes my 2010 model still the newest model :)

If I keep mine a bit longer, I bet I can make oil out of it!

Life is good. :D Got my hot tub fixed. So...........I'm sitting in it. Watching TV, drinking home made hard apple cider, eating Skittles, and ordering parts from Z1 on the computer. :happydance:

Ineed.

Not to be a board snob but there are (were?) multiple posts about this, with the only prospect of Nissan introducing a Nismo Leaf.

Well, I did read most of the threads and came away thinking it was mostly rumor and speculation. Until the Tokyo Motor show took place there was no real way of knowing what was fact and what was fantasy regarding any new Z. Not that I don't trust what people have to say :stirthepot:

JTM88 10-29-2017 03:28 PM

The Z has been starting slow and this morning it barely turned over so I put a new battery in it. It still had the factory battery in it, I'm surprised it lasted that long.

Mine is in storage somewhere I think. Parked next to a rusted GMC Sierra, 68 Moostang, and A Grand Sport Vette.

Yea yea. Rub it in. I honestly haven't driven it much this year due to work. Just passed 2k miles for the year. Maybe next year will be better. Still want to do that winery tour with everyone next year.
