Does anyone else find the Z not very photogenic?

I love the R35! It is UGLY! Unabashedly ugly. No I'm sorry. No apologies. It looks like a veteran prize fighter that doesn't take squat. With the juice to back it up. I think it's beautiful.

I think the Z has the perfect booty for pics. Mines still new and stock but i find myself snapping random pics all the time

I think one of the tricks to photographing the Z is using low angles... like getting close to the ground. When you shoot a photo down at the car from above it tends to exaggerate it's proportions, especially the rear. Top-down shots also kind of miss some of the nuances of the car like the upswept steep angle where the a pillar meets the roofline. Low shots also tend to minimize the wheel gap on non-lowered cars, whereas top-down can draw attention to it a bit more. The car is photogenic, just like a lot of people can be photogenic, but it's ultimately up to the photographer to capture the best angles and lighting situations for the subject.

Just mod the car until you are happy with it. Nothing is ever perfect, but that doesn't mean you can't chase your own concept of perfection.

Other than desaturating all colors except purple and red and the light painting, no "photoshopping" was done.

Absolutely nothing done to this except using a nice lens and a circular polarizer.
