Many of the cars that are sought after across the world, are not seen on every couple of miles. That is a funny point you had mentioned . Maybe it is their way of coping??  . The only major benefit I see that comes from a vehicle being mass-produced is it (generally) creates a lower price point, and allows a broader range of consumers.
