There would be nothing wrong with the FRS/BRZ if they didn't come with some actual horsepower. 200HP is laughable. The Civic SI comes with more stock. I'm fine with a little smaller of a car, at least lighter. And push the wheels to the corners so that we have a true FMR layout, like the S2000 was. That's what kills the Toybaru for me, the S2000 is a better all around car and cheaper, and it's 10 years older.
A perfect Z35 for me would be either 3.0L Hi RPM or 2.5L-3.0L TT Hi RPM motor in a 3000lb body, same or smaller body measurements as Z34, pure RWD, and with no electric motors. The Z should remain a more affordable Cayman S, not try to be a hybrid crapola or hardtop Miata.
