"next Z car could end up being less expensive than the 370Z, which carries a base price of $30,000. That’s not exactly affordable for many younger buyers, and isn’t the Z supposed to be relatively cheap? Just look at the Scion FR-S and its $25k sticker price."

if they want to lump me in with FRS/BRZ owners then fuck it raise the price.

Agree,but I dont think we'll see a v6 400hp in the next z.
"For the successor to the 370Z, Nissan may choose to come up with a cheaper model. "Now the sports car for some people is just too expensive." Nissan, Aoki indicated, wants to "focus more in the future at a younger generation" regarding its entry-level sports car. "
Probably a 4cyl turbo.

if it's only the baby 4 banger engine the Z will die. well to me at least.

super low price and baby engine it'll just become a terrible Nissan BRZ/FRS. it will be like owning a 2003 350Z........in 2016. and not because you bought it new and held onto it. like no you got it now because you're 18 and its cheap.

also that article like the 10 previous ones are most likely not true.

Q50/60 production model debut is in a couple weeks. maybe more details will help form a picture on the Z.

its not one or the other(400hp V6 or 4cyl)... the 3.0 Turbo also comes in a 300hp configuration which is more likely for a smaller cheaper base Z

thank you lol

I've actually been thinking about what the press release said that the engine is identical in 300 or 400hp just a tune........if the "sport" options are available for both like wheels,, brakes, etc... it would save money just getting 300hp then a tune in theory.

Unless Mercedes taught Nissan how to put 4 governors plus a master governor?
