Ah...to be 26 again. My world was my car and anything about it wrong was the end of said world. Alpine White GSR I tracked at the time. I remember when my ex scratched the wing with the garage door....
You saved 10K for 7K of miles which is *nothing*. I don't think its a bad deal. I understand I cannot see the paint and what it looks like, but I would think a new paint job is a *bit* extreme. Professional details do wonders. The Nissan's paint is not what I would call think: I and many others run clear bra on part of the car to help and you should do the same once its looking pretty. Anytime you bring in a lawyer you typically lose out: they are not free. Only in extreme cases where their fees would be recouped (full lemon law, breach of warranty) is it a slam dunk. You already were a tad rash getting the car, don't be too rash getting rid of it and losing more coin. Give it time to work out, and drive the snot out of it. Its the same car you said drove like any other Nismo: how can you not enjoy that? ![]() The ZR you see on the left: we got used with 2400 miles. My 335d: 32K. X1? 21K. Cayman? 15K. I have not bough a new car since 2001, which was a WRX 5 door. No car was perfect from the exterior: paint chips, scratches I could buff...but the cost savings got me a Cayman. ![]() - b Last edited by bvl; 03-23-2015 at 06:25 AM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Nissan Corporate did get involved and I came out much much happier with a car that doesn't seem to have any issues as you can see I'm very relieved now, it was to the point I was calling around for lawyers, contacted the BBB, and atorney's general. In the end it was NISSAN CORPORATE who helped me. The dealership just insulted me with a lowball pay off and lied on their response to complaints. Thanks for all the support and advice especially DYNAZOR for taking time to pm me and walk me through that struggle! |

Thanks Zipper 104 at first I was against the rims but they are starting to grow on me.. I think they will be able to hold up better than the older nismo rims rock chips were murder just on the short time I had that car I would see new little nicks around the edges. I loved the color and style 13/14 nismo rays but the paint on them didn't seem to like rocks just like our bumpers and hoods lol
