But it looks to be worth it. At least we have that option. Putting a body kit and wheels on a z with the nismo emblem it's not working anymore. I don't want a 70k Z. But I'd pay for a 50K Z that didn't have tech package and things that aren't useful for a track car. Something like a boss 302 fighter. Look a the nismo GT-R compared to the base.

I agree that we need a Nismo + or something that slots between the Nismo and the base GTR. The new GT Stang is apparently better at Laguna than the Boss, so perhaps Nissan threw in the towel for the Z for this iteration and might try something better the next design. That being said, if the Z28 drops some and I think it will, I would pull the trigger on one at a price point of 60, same price as the Hellcat. They seem to be accumulating on the lots, I have no mullet but I would drive one. But they seemed to have fixed the things I got rid of my Nismo for….it now has better seats, stock oil cooler, navigation and XM radio, and less wing to draw attention.

Final Drive Ratio: 3.916 Manual / 3.692 Automatic
That seems like the biggest change in the whole thing. The Auto is bumping up to the previous ratio in the manual, and the manual's moving to 3.9. Those are pretty big bumps in torque in any given gear. It should also mean that from 2015+, there will no longer be an Auto/Manual difference when changing gears or differentials (as the only reason for that was the non-standard thickness of the 2009-2014 Auto's 3.357 rear drive).

are you the one thats blind? it says 240SX, not Z. Its never been a Z car, was never marketed as a Z car nor has nissan ever admitted it was even part of the same family. ITS NOT A Z. go finish your bowl of delusion O's

a Ferrari dino, or a mustang II are closer to being a real Ferrari and mustang than a 240SX is to a Z.

No 240sx owner is tying to be in the z club. Especially with asswipe like you driving a z.

I owned 3 240sx hatchbacks over the years and I am part of the Z Club now.

I am not really feeling the 15 NISMO either. The interior things that we didn't get (even though available in Japan) are too little too late. The 13-14 NISMO got it right to an extent, but the two tone should have been an option instead of a MY deal. The oil cooler is lacking, but the suspension tweak is ok at best in comparison. If Nissan would have listened when they did the challenge car on Facebook when they redesigned the NISMO for 15, I am sure we would have seen a far different vehicle. We can only hope for the Z35 to implement those ideas.

In all reality, I would get a 13 (if I hadn't done so much to my 09) if I had to do it all over again. I would have a FI TT Kit instead of Greddy though......

S chassis is s chassis and z chassis is z chassis neither is trying to be either. They serve different markets. That's all there is to it.
