Awesome.

In addition to the obvious automatic transmission and tech package, the Japanese site shows there's a new interior light kit option. All previous NISMO extras, like the illuminated kick plates and premium floor mats, are also carried over.

***EDIT***
On a side note: I just noticed from these pics, that the Japanese version has different seats. I should investigate that a little more. Seats are from a non-NISMO model (the silver isn't blackened). The light kit is offered for the entire 2015 line-up.

So its uglier, more expensive, drag coefficient went from .29 to .30, and its 108lbs heavier "probably more with failmatic transmission" . No thanks. This will be written off in my memory history book as (non cannon Z) that doesnt belong. Kinda like how people who own a 240sx wanna be part of the Z family. Badged or not, this isnt a nismo.

I like my Z!

IMHO, I prefer the body styling of the '15 NISMO. That's just a personal point of view and I can't argue with those who like the previous models better. What disappoints me though is the performance of it. I think they should've done more to hit to make it more special. But the price of the car is reasonable if you ask me. That's just my :twocents:

You're not alone. I like the new look over the old as well.

Fortunately, those who prefer the old styling still have a chance to get it before they vanish. Dealers still have a backlog of them.

In Canada, prices are always higher than US. From your perspective you may be right but here, I've never seen anything lower than $40K when NISMO cars were available to us. With my VPP offer, I'll probably get a "good" deal though.. Well, I hope so...

Yea you're right. It's a good thing for them since they will probably be cheaper with the new models out.

When I say I prefer the look of the '15 Nismos, don't get me wrong 'cuz I like the "older" ones too but... it's '15 for me.

The 2015 nismo looks amazing, and the available tech package is just awesome. Don't really love the navi, but anything is better than the massive cubby.

Also, I don't see any option for the interior lights on the 2015 build page. Might be a JDM only option.

I really just want the seats, steering wheel, and the rear final drive. They don't make 15's in magma red, th old dark nismo wheels look better than the new ones, and I prefer the large spoiler. I admit the whale tail is kinda cool tho.

No oil cooler?

that cubby comes in handy! especially if you install an aftermarket head-unit. now you have screen and a spot to stash stuff.

you dont need one in the 2015 nismo since it has the tech package. it tells you with GPS exactly where on the interstate or race track to pull over and let her cool down.

Better styling. Red, leather 'Recaro' seats. Nav package! What's not to like?...
