Some people never learn. If you want an oil cooler, then go buy one. Nismo actually has one for sale JDM which is offered by several US aftermarket dealers. To sell the Nismo in part, because you don't get your way is well..........childish to say the very least.

As above; See ya!

I was surprised; I thought the OP had issues with the oil temperatures because he was hitting 280 and hitting limp mode on some regular occasion, maybe he lived in some high desert climate. I didn't expect it was just frustrating to see the temperatures and that was the whole problem.

Well, maybe he's happier now with another vehicle.

I did the home-brew method of oil coolers. This one although a little expensive, is a Transmission/Oil cooler from B&M. They put a really good SPAL fan and electronic thermostat. ~180 degrees and the fan lights up for nice cool oil. The good about this cooler is its smaller in size than say a 32 row making for an easier install, and with the fan the oil stays cool when you are under ~40mph. I have not seen over 195 on the gauge since installing this cooler, -10 lines, and thermostatic sandwich plate over a month ago.

I spent $400 on the entire installed setup.

I bought mine (Nismo) knowing I need to add the oil cooler at some point, and maybe brake ducts. Thats no big deal compared to the carbon caked valve engines that Audi and BMW make now, and refuse to fix for the most part or blown water pumps, scored cylinder walls that burn oil, and cam chain tensioners failing and cracked nylon cam chain guides. None of which they like to fix under the OEM warrenty
Damn, This sounds exactly like the Mini Cooper S I sold back to the dealership. Dont forget $1200 Direct Injection high-pressure fuel pumps which get eaten away by Ethenol laced fuel. They are also not covered under warantee due to owners using 'bad' fuel quality. Rubbish!
