UPDATE guys..... alright... i wanna start off by saying all the parts of my car that really bothers me.... im really bummed out that the engine bay is practically pink.... or a really light red because of the heat in the damn bay... it really sucks that there is no clear in there... second the paint on the z's are crap... im sooo irritated how i gently wash it and always buy brand new packs of microfiber towels.... just as a precaution not to put swirls... but i end up putting swirls on it anyways... the paint is sooo soft.... i always gotta buff her everyweek end because i dont like seeing fine scratches on my car... it just bothers me so much... i dont even drive my car as much anymore LOL because i dont wanna have to wipe her down and put more swirls or scratches.... and now... there is like i think three 3 red z's that look like me....

my friend confirmed that he saw a different one with similar mods as me... with that said.... i already talked to my painter.... my car will be downed for a month... we are going to change the color.... im not gonna say what the color is... but it aint red... lol im gonna pull all the glass off the car and what ever else is needed to pull out to make sure the paint job is the best of the best..... the money i saved for the supercharger will go to this.... on the bright side... the sc is still in its early stages and it gives everyone time to work out the kinks in it... i will still sc but probably early next year or late this year.... i hope you guys are stoked... because i sure am....

just waiting on two cars to get finished then my car rolls into the shop....

aahhhhh nooooo

I never really liked red on sports coupe until i saw yours!...

Keep the color for now until you absolutely CANNOT withstand Nissan paint!

Hey Simota...did you get some more new parts today? Saw your car in the parking lot of the Post Office this afternoon after lunch...figured...Oh Boy this guys getting more goodies for the Z again...

Cool to hear that you're up for a new look..Whatever you choose, I know that its gonna be different...Being that I have the same color as you, I guess my engine bay will start to turn pink in due time....DAM!!!!! BTW...who's/what shop is gonna shoot your paint? What did they quote you?

Red looks nice on the car when its new...but over time Red is one of the colors that fade the quickiest and is the most noticeable...Should I ever decide to shoot mine, it definately will be another color

O MAN!!! was that you in the police uniform? lol that was me infront of u... lol... naw... i thought i did... i actually got a g35 cargo net.... kevr mentioned in his post that it fits... but idk why its sooo long... i picked up hids for my daily driver car... i was hoping it was something else

but yah man... i always always always open the hood to let the hot air out but yah... my underside of my hood is pretty light pink....

I just ran in to check my box and was in and out...Couldn't mistake your car.....That line looked hella crazy..But what else is new...GMF is always packed like a Motha!!!

Cool that you don't want to mention the shop...Was just checking...I used to be heavy in the import scene back in the day and know a few of the good painters here and there....Figured if you said who or what shop that I might be able to get you a good deal if I knew the painter or shop...$3500.00 hmmmm....Sounds like a three stage paint job to me....Interesting...

yah man the line was crazy..... ill tell you the name after its done man.... the reason why im going to this shop is that im comfortable with him that i can actually work on my car... not the drop off and pick up thing.... and u are correct

it is a tri coat color....

If its a Tri...you definately be one of a kind...and I know for sure from experience that this Tri Color would look hella sick on the Z....I had a tri on my last sports car back in the day....

Good luck to you and can't wait to see it when its done...

FYI...Since you're car is gonna be down for awhile being painted and everything I guess you won't have to be wiping her down so much and spending all that money on Micro Fiber towels huh?

lol... i got the full covers from the z store.... the evor and zele ones only cover the painted area... i wanted to cover the whole thing so it looks like i didnt run outa carbon fiber LOL

soooo i couldnt wait LOL i got itchy and decided to install them... i buffed out the scratches with my high speed buffer with a wool pad then finished it off with a glaze... took out the scratches lol... but yah... i even took a pic of the spawn aero cf pillars...
