I definitely recommend finding a set of the stock sport Rays and increasing the size of those R888s! Great tire. I used a 275/40r18 square setup and liked them. Going with 295/30r19 on four rear stock rays for this season I think.

Yeah but running 19's on race tires @ 275 is friggin expensive!!

18's take hundreds off the tire price... but also limit tire width...

It says you spent $950 on your R888 - they have the 295/30r19 r888 for $1050 currently. Not all that bad for another 2 inches of tire a corner up front and an inch in the back. What organization limits your tire width? Or are you talking about the front fenders limiting width?

That is one of the reasons that i mode to 18"wheels... PLus here in PR finding 19" tires is a PITA I spend 1 month tying to find new tires for the 19"wheels with no luck...

My only limitation on tires at the moment is the width of the wheels i'm using.
- I have base 18" for track wheels

A set of 19" wheels and tires would be prolly $2k. eek

You can find the stock sport rays for $600 for a used set - just have to look around. Keep an eye out! You'll like the setup a hell of a lot more. I ran 245's on the front my first autox season and the car plowed like crazy. I was also on stock tires, not something sticky like the R888. Our car tends to like a square setup with a big ole tire up front though. Just a suggestion

You might want to consider 315 30 on the rear. I am running them on 18x11 wheels and the car is planted and fitment is spot on. I am running r888 295 on 18x10.5 and they fit nicely but I think they will be little stretched on an 11" wheel.
