I drove her around today (home from dealer) to give the motor a bit of break-in before Dyno runs. She sounds awesome (a bit more percussive I guess I'd say than with stock exhaust cams. Its subtle but definately there)

I cant speak to power until I get Tuned (Monday maybe) but I suspect there will be some gains (you can kind of tell from the sound that the motor is a bit different)

JWT advertises mostly torque gains with a slight HP gain. Well see.

Its mostly just good to have my baby resurrected from total motor detonation.

It will take a few weeks to get her all buttoned up. The accusump and oil cooler are not plumbed in yet as I was trying to get the car ready for the dyno so bypassed them last week.

Also a forum sponsor suspects I did not get the V2 JWT cam? I'll know for sure in a few days. I hope so, but in a NA street build it won't matter much either way I'm told. The Dyno will show definitively which Cam I have. (based on torque curves apparently)

I'm going to put it where that (IMHO) goofy clock goes in the triple dash cluster

Some guys love the clock, and I don't hate it, but definitely need a oil P gauge more! That Clock sits in a much coveted spot.

I'm plumbing in both the oil gauge, an accusump and the replacement oil cooler over the next few weeks. (This week is all Coupe building stuff, so completing the now drive-able Z is on temporary hold)

The NISMO billet oil pump I put in should round a pretty solid oiling system. (I hope). Now if that friggin (upgraded) gasket will just hold this time, I should be good.

Make sure your oil pressure gauge reads to 150. On start-up. My Z will peg a 100 psi gauge at an idle for a few minutes before it's starts to come down to about 38~40 psi at idle. Rev the motor up. The psi will go up over 100 psi at 3500 revs. I oredered a 150 psi gauge from SpeedHut. Be here in 4 weeks or so.

Showed the wife pictures of what your car will look like. She asked how much. I told her. She then said that I need a bigger garage to do something like this.

Think she gave me the ok, but with a catch. A new garage is out of the question for the time being.

Does he have room for HVAC back there?

For me. Nothing worst then wiring. I hate doing it. Making process.

It looks like pandemonium back there with it all tucked in but believe it or not it's pretty well loomed and organized back there. There is just a lot of wire.

I know what you mean. I restored a couple of motorcycles that had the wiring all hacked up. Had to redo it all.

It's a pain, but you know where everything goes.
