Thanks a lot of hard work has gone into it. I really think the at Atlanta Motorsports Park, I am about at the limit. Time will tell.

Road Atlanta I have no idea...

Then again there is self preservation that will step in or has step in at one point in time. Till then going to just enjoy it.

things to think about and start doing...
  • DO NOT drive long distances on alignment setup with a lot of toe.
  • Since I want to drive to and from the track.
  • maybe different tires for track on just having fun vs trying to go as fast as I can
  • learn about suspension setup and alignment really...
  • Gofundme try, why not
  • Decide fix transmission and sell the Z, all options are on the table.

start making minor repairs, that I can do.
  • fix inner liner on passenger side
  • repair the windshield wiper fluid system
  • clean air filters that is always fun
  • remove harness bar (and sell) and harness

sell or give away z stuff
  • give away
  • oem exhaust (w/o catalytics)
  • oem shocks/coils
  • oem sway bars
  • sell cheaply
  • oem headlights (as set)
  • oem wheels (as set)

So that is where my though process are currently.
Up next a little discussion of what tracking cost me

interesting fact, when I track I use a Garmin catalyst to improve my skills, They have come out with an app on the phone,
that allows you to see a leaderboard for any track you run with other Catalyst users.
Well my home track is Atlanta Motorsport Park. I had a good laugh I am number 10 out of 40+ catalyst users..

Crazy how fast those Miata’s are, I saw alot when I did Autocross, but when I got out to Sebring I thought they can’t be that fast on a big track like this, then once I got into the corners I was giving them the point by lol

Yes, in the right hands they can really go.
I really think it comes down to drivers skills. Now at Atlanta Motorsport Park (AMP), cannot tell you how many hours of sim and on track. Really got it down. Also the way AMP flows may fit my driving style.

Enjoy the day and thanks for the comments

been a bit of time, but Black Friday buys update

Frozen Rotors Slotted front and rear rotors
Hood vent kit
https://trackspecmotorsports.com/sho...r-vent-kit-112
Front Splitter
https://www.fsperformanceengineering...32842118791214
Side Skirts

I was looking at maybe dive plates/canards and a new short shifter, but the budget is not there.

So now its time to start buying the expendable items for next year. Working on having everything by beginning of March for the rebuild to start.

God-Speed, JARblue and sx moneypit like this.

Its officially time to start on the Z.
First Track event will be April 15th.
And we all know how fast time goes.

So will be posting and pictures as I go through all the stuff to do.
Probably with lots of questions and educating too.

Been a bit funny oh how wishy - washy I have been. Do I continue or do I quit.
Right now continuing the journey for tracking this year.
