Probably don’t want one until 2022. Let them work the kinks out of a brand new first time mid-engine car.

Having did my share of reading about the new mid engine LT2 C8 Corvette and almost purchased one myself I know GM will have problems with their mid engine design as well as carrying on their tradition with drivetrain issues and needing to be upgraded by the customer. Also I would expect these mid engine LT2’s to have motor oil consumption issues. I am happy I held off on getting a Corvette as my Z is overall a lot more reliable and dependable to own comparing to the Corvette good luck. GM thought they had a better idea? I would rather purchase a GTR instead and support Nissan.

A base Vette and a G-TR aren’t the same price range. That’s like saying I don’t think I’d be happy with this $100 jacket, I’d rather buy the $200 one.

Wasn’t familiar with that particular individual. Moron status noted.

Time will tell us what the issues are going to be and then I can decide if I can live with them, fix them with aftermarket or not care. I might ruffle a few feathers here but I don't like the looks of a GTR at all. For that kind of money the car better look good and perform well, not one or the other.
I have never owned a mid engine vehicle before and would love to cross it off the list. The 'vette is definitely in the right price range and to me, it is very easy on the 'ol peepers.

Keep your Z and add a Corvette to the stable. That's not a bad choice. LOL I passed on the GTR also. GTR tax sucks. You will still have a Corvette tax, but it is no where near as bad. I was thinking of a 911 Turbo S for myself.

I think the GT-R is an ugly vehicle too
