Hey guys, the gf doesn't like shooting 124gr +p Gold Dots in her LC9, so I need to get some standard pressure rounds for her. Of the 115/124/147 gr standard pressure Gold Dots which would you choose?

Range or home defense??

For range and plinking I wouldn't really shoot anything over 115gr, and it's cheaper LOL.

HD & Daily Carry.

Will probably just stick to standard pressure 115/124gr for her. The LC9 is so light it gets very, very snappy with +p, making follow-up shots difficult.

Keep the +p rounds for HD and Daily Carry. If you ever need it you won't even remember the recoil after the fact...

I have enough ammo for the Garand, AR, and pistols that I will be bringing to keep most people happy...

Might bring the Mosin just because I am mean...

I just dont think an hour would be enough time for me, especially with me having to zero my AR.

Yeah, it's not really worth it if you are shooting a rifle, but for pistol it works. There are no outdoor ranges anywhere close here in NOVA, it's really the only option within a 30 mile radius or so.

Shooting longer distances in an outdoor range will be nice, especially in cold weather. I don't know what it is about cold weather shooting that makes it even more fun.
