Did some research, looks like I should be able to bring my stuff to a range in MD; just have to keep the guns/mags unloaded and locked up in the trunk with the ammo totally separate it seems. I still need to do some more digging to get 100% confirmation.

And I would say if you REALLY wanna play it safe, you could always break down your weapons, and put them together once you get to the range.
