The one tax that they are talking about and gaining traction is a mileage tax. It is because they feel that the hybrid and electric cars are getting a free ride on road use because they pay little to nothing in fuel taxes. The catch to this is. We already have a fuel tax. This will go alone with it. Meaning now us gas and diesel users will pay the mileage tax too, if this comes about.
 Any way they can get their hands into your wallet. They will find a way.
