![]() If Sig's optic's are as good as their gun's I would not be concerned about the quality. I haven't heard anything bad about the Romeo Red dots but with a design similar to Holosun I'm not sure if it is worth spending almost double on the SIG. I have a few Holosuns and they are solid optics. Edit: After doing a little research it seams that Sig red dots use proprietary mounts, where as almost all of the Holosun red dots use Aimpoint style mounts giving you more options in the mounts category.

I had a chance to get the pair for about $450. I passed. You are right about the mounts and that concerns me.
I am looking at the Sig Romeo 1x30 for the DE too. Making some comparisons.
