If you're shooting an AK just go with Tulammo. Cheap and it still eats that stuff up like nothing.

Picked up a PSA ROCK 5.7 and stuck a Viridian RFX45 on top. I am getting to like this over my Gen1 FNfiveSeven on the range. Not sure I would use it as a carry gun though.
The word is crazy now, so all of you make sure you have USCCA insurance.

Don't know or care about pmags. I have quite a few that I bought a long time ago and don't really use for about $11 a piece and am now tempted to sell for the low, low price of $100 each. My 30(?) gallon trash bags full of GI steel mags are more than sufficient since I don't even have enough ammo to fill them.
BlackZeda and DEpointfive0 like this.

I can't believe i cant find 10 round AK mags. Even 10 round mags are impossible to find and the prices are high... why if there is no ban restriction.

I need 2 AK, 10 round, 7.62 mags if anyone can find?

AK's in general seem to be impossible to find, at least here in CA. On the main CA gun forum classifieds there are probably hundreds of AR's, lowers, and over priced pmags, but literally no AK's or parts for them. You probably can't even find 10-rounders since whatever was available pre Sandy Hook shipped out west to CA immediately right after.

AK parts kits i have found, but they used to be $200, now they are $400.

This fkin shyt is getting corny already. Every hobby has to be exploited and gouge marketed, for political or capitalist reasons. Like car tuning etc. That shyt has gone up 200% in price over the last 10 years. Remember when intake exhaust and headers was less than $2,000???

Default Is it true

In the wake of the Confiscationist's calls for more "gun control," that ARs are flying off the shelves or hard to get now...again?

Flying off the shelves, and the great ammo shortage of 2016 is already underway. Hard to find good 5.56 or .223.

Going by what I've read, sales are up for most guns - S&W stock made a nice jump recently.

I can get centerfire ammo locally but rimfire stuff can be hard to find. Local stores are frequently out of .22 LR and I had to drive 35 miles to get some .22 Magnums. .17 WMRs are usually in stock but often only in limited quantities (1 or 2 boxes).
12 gauge shells are still plentiful.

"Specialty" ammo (LAP, tracer, flechette, &c), is no problem since Firequest is located in town. I can get some good deals buying stuff that they are discontinuing or don't have enough of to put in the catalog.

Was just at Cabela's by Wheeling WV. They had plenty of .22's and other calibers. AR's and the like have jumped in price again. I bought my daughter a S&W M&P 22 Compact for Christmas so that she can practice without costing me an arm and leg.

Default I was going to buy

Ruger's new plain Jane AR15. I have an AR10 and for the price through my FFL, $571 I couldn't beat the price. But, I had saved up money to put down on a Z and trade my Challenger. Once, to my surprise, I discovered the Challenger had been in a front end crash, I needed every dime I had saved to buy the Z. I did so and then the mass shootings and here we go again.
