I'll have to try this. I have slings on several of my guns but have only used them for carrying. Thanks.

Sorry for broken link , I was taught using slings as part of getting a stable "shooting platform" when young (yes I was young once). It was part of marksmanship training at schools rifle club, taught by aftc instructor. Took son to Appleseed event , they teach same technique same reasons. https://appleseedinfo.org/programs/

Pistol I was taught single hand bullseye, only much later did I try tactical stances.
