I use the Les Baer for the .45 portion of the competition. He guaranteed a 1" group at 50 yds out of the box, and it fed wad cutters no problem. Haven't modified it at all except for a custom set of Randall Fung grips. You don't need to modify with a lot of the top shelf manufacturers. For the center fire portion I've got a 9mm Sig P226 X-five. Bone stock and absolutely perfect. My .22lr is a 7" barrel S&W 41 with Fung grips. Ultra dots for optics on the 22 and 45, a trijicon reflex sight on the Sig.

Anyone know of a smith that can change my shytty 92 front sights without external degradation of the front fixed sight? I would really like tritium in the front. The front sight is Beretta's main flaw.

Is it pinned in, or is it in a dovetail?

It's easier to get it out undamaged in a dovetail than if it's pinned in. There's usually a decent enough smith at your local range that has a sight pusher. The issue becomes the angle of the dovetail. Make sure whatever sights you buy have the same angle or you'll have to recut the dovetail. I've seen a few night sights that actually come with the pusher. Can't remember the brand- maybe AmeriGlo?

Any recommendations for a nice double action revolver? I'm looking into a 357 mag. I like the fact that i can shoot 357mag and 38spec.
I will mainly use it for a range toy and hd as well.
On another forum people were recommending me the ruger gp100 or the s&w686.

The 686 would get my vote, but both are awesome revolvers. You cant go wrong either way.

Both are excellent, but I would go for the S&W. I own a Ruger GP100 and have been very happy with it but the S&W has a trigger pull that is a smidge smoother. The Ruger is a great looking pistol though.

Can't go wrong either way. If you've got the coin, Dan Wesson makes some awesome wheel guns. If money's tight, Taurus revolvers are actually pretty good, unlike their autos.
