There is a gun show on my area this weekend. Definitely not going because of all the scalping. Fortunately my local guns stores have been keeping their prices reasonable, when in stock. However I’m not in need of ammo so I’ve been able to stay out of all this nonsense. Stocked up a long time ago. |

What do you guys think is going to happen after the 20th WRT to the 2A?
Of course there’s going to be a lot of proposals and promises made but what do you think will actually pass? Have a feeling the politicians don’t grasp the reality that was this past year’s gun sales. I imagine there will more push back from their constituents than they expect. I think they will get a few things passed but nothing like what they are taking about. One thing I think has a good chance of happening is the ban on on-line sales. |

Unfortunately, I didn't do a very good job stockpiling powder & primers in the last few years, but I have done a pretty good job with ammo. Most was reloaded in the early 2000s, and I've taken a few out to make sure things are okay. |
Prices going up 4/1.

How does that Hank Jr song go.. "Interest is up and the stock market's down/and you only get mugged if you go downtown" Here we go again....:shakes head::shakes head: |
We bought our first home a single wide mobile home in 1985. It was $15,500 and the interest rate was 15. Stick mortar homes were like 12.

That sounds about like what my parents told us. We moved into our first purchased home in Houston around that time (83/84ish). Remember mom telling me interest was like 12%. |

It would be worthwhile if the break even point was 6 months on a 15 year note, but I don't have 30% equity to get the best rate. :ugh2: |

We’re locked in at 3.125% and on the 15 yr plan. Kid will be in college and I’m gonna retire. |
For all you fear mongers'. Stop spreading rumor's. LOL

Seen that. It's old news. Other manufactories are having a materials shortage. This came out the other day. ADG can't get brass to make the casings. Some stuff will not be made until 2022. Lead is in short supply a long with other materials. https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C...Xx1BGwQ4dUDCA0 We have the perfect storm. A pandemic that caused shortages in manpower, materials, delivery. Riots. Anti gun president. 5 million new gun owners for 2020. Plus the gov't contracts. |
I put 0 down on a FHA loan over 10 years ago. Refinanced 3 times in the first 6 years of ownership. From 5% down to 2.75% (also went from 30 yr to 25 to 20 to 15). Rolled closing costs into financing each time so never paid a dime out of pocket. Saved over 10K in interest costs over the life of the loan each refi.
Should have bought ammo instead lol |

Holly chit!!!!!! I bought a box of 20 rounds of 285gr Hornady match for my 338 LM in Dec for $103.00. Looked today for the same thing online. $173.99. Talk about inflation. :icon14:

Who here owns a P226 Mk25?

Need? LOL. All want. I have lots of 9mm. This looks to be one of the best made for the money. I want to verify this in my hands. I want to test and compare with my Glock. I like the longer 4.4" barrel on this version.

I want it in 9mm . And definitely a newer mark 25. I could only find 1 at the gun show last weekend. It was at least 30 years old and not the one I wanted. Same with a Benelli M4, I could not find even one of those. Lots of over priced ammo. I did get some 8mm from 1953 for a reasonable price. And had a chance to finally shoot the WWI mauser.

I wouldn't want to either fire that rifle or get hit by the projectile. With that kind of terminal energy, it will obliterate whatever it hits.:eek: |

This was only 1600 fps but in the comments section they say it's been fired at 3000 fps
