According to what I've read, it's built off of a 20mm Vulcan round, but I thought the Vulcan fired a 30mm round. Either way... holy chit....

It weighs 1,690 gr. Speed is over 3,300 fps. Energy over 42,000 ft lbs. Stays sonic out to 5,400 yards. Bet it's fired from a fixed mount. Ain't no should holding up to that.

I just looked for Monolithic Munitions. They apparently are no longer in the ammo business. They shut down their ammo manufacturing at the end of 2016.

Local gun club is starting a N.R.L22 league next weekend. Thinking about it. From reading the rules. It's for 22LR. The gun and scope can't not be worth more than $1050.00 combined. If it's more then that. Then you're in the open class. Figuring out what 22LR rifles would be good for this. Hmmmm

Can't use any rifle that is discontinued. They have to look up the price to make sure it falls under the $1050 limit. I have a Mossberg 22LR target rifle that doesn't qualify. Plus they discourage tube magazines. 10 round clips for quick reloading. The 10/22 won't cut it. The Ruger Precision 22lr and rifles like that are preferred.

I just scored 1000 rounds of 22LR from a neighbor for $50.00. :tup: His mother died a few months ago, and he is cleaning out her house. She was big with shooting competition. He promised some to other people. I told him what's left over, I'll buy the rest.

How about the S&W M&P 15-22? I have one, pretty sure it was much less than $1k, and they still make them. 25rd or 10rd box mags are available. I think they even made a bull barrel target version, but don't quote me on that.

You can use it, long as it is still made in 2021. And they can find a manufacturer list price for it. Not a sell price. If the gun lists for $550. And you got it for $500. They will go by the $550.

The rest of my Dewy cleaning rods came in. The last to come was the .17 to .20 cal. pistol and rifle rods. :tup:

Logged on to Powder Valley last night. They showed that they had 9, 8lbs jugs of H1000 powder on stock. Put 1 jug into my cart and go to check out. Filled everything out. Only to find out that they had none left. It went that quick. :shakes head:

No. You have to be logged in. And be looking at it. Same way with Mid South Shooter's. Those are the only places that I've seen powder and stuff.

Looking for Alliant RL 26 and Hodgdon H1000 powder. Nothing on that sight. On Gunbroker. H1000 is bidding at $410 for 8lbs. The reserve hasn't been met yet. It normally goes for $233.

Bought 1000 9mm bullets for .12 ea > Last year paid .08 for a working round. Primers are more than bullets . FFS I hate this . I think the only way to come out ahead is barter with others.
