Sweet bike! The last bike I had was a Cervelo P I used for Triathlons. Loved that bike. Had a few too many close calls with autos in FL and CA and decided to sell it. 😕

Very familiar with Cervelo's. Tri bikes in general are scary to be riding in traffic. I like to have my hands near the brake levers.

I used to joke that it's worth more than my car. That's my eclipse though, not the z. Didn't cost me too much though (about 5k). I bought a used frame off ebay and built it up from there.

Those low weight components can break the bank for sure!

It can add up quick. I built it in 2013. It still has mechanical shifting. Now it's all wireless electronic.

No more cables, easy to set up and it works flawlessly. Not too expensive anymore. It came out about 5 years ago.

The lighter the bike. The more is costs. I've looked at bikes that were 10 grand plus.

My bike has close to 10k in parts on it and it weighs 15lbs. Not super light but it's an aero frame which is a little heavier along with 44mm wheels which adds more weight than a shallow wheel. And a power meter that's built into the crankset. I prefer a stiff frame with a stiff bottom bracket over a super light but flexy frame.
