You thinking about heating the garage too this winter so you can work in there? You have NG or Propane in there already perhaps?

Sorta. Space heater and a thick jacket. hahahaha. I don't want to spend a ton of money on a temporary solution.

I don't think a space heater is going to cut your harsh winters for that garage...I was leaning towards a torpedo type heater... This WILL keep you warm but take care to make sure you let in some fresh air. All you need with this is a 10lb propane tank ( or larger ). I had one back in the 70's in my parents garage but it was kerosene and that heated our 2 car garage up from 20 degrees to 80 degrees inside an hour.... lol.

Shades of Madwi, Rusty, and myself working on the turbo kit! Get the torpedo heater. You won't regret it.

ISO audit day 1 completed with flying colors. The most stressful days of my year, more than half done. Just need to get through tomorrow morning.

No thanks, I'm full up!

Whatever you're dealing with though, I hope it eases.

One of the best things I did when I moved into my house was to install a heater in my garage! ( top corner ) Think the total cost was like $350 plus my neighbor who is a Union Pipe Fitter did all my black pipe that was run from the basement to the garage for beers! It's NG 35,000 btu's and it can be zero degrees outside and I'm in the garage in a tee shirt. lol. Helps to have 2" clopay insulated garage doors too. I never turn it off... there's a 3-4 inch flame ( pilot light ) that always on... even in summertime. Little to no maintenance after 25 years and still going strong...

Nice, I'm jealous. Wonder what I'd run into heating my (detached) garage? Alas, my neighbor is good only for banking related questions and investments. He has no pipe fitting skills of which I am aware.

Oil-field electric radiators. If the garage is insulated they don't use that much power.

Do you mix your whey protein and creatine with lite beer?

Don't forget the fiber too! lol

Yeah, I have a Power Cage in the basement and try to at least be able to bench my weight (210 pounds) and struggling atm. Got 3 reps up at 205 ( barely ) and felt weak. Been doing thread mill every day for a good 3-5 miles and try to get in the cage 2-3 times a week.

Oil-field electric radiators are maybe 70 bucks. Running 2 in my garage kept it at 60 during Chicago winter.
