Once you find out what the MRI says don't just jump in for surgery. Spinal surgery is no joke. Either you will be good as gold right after the surgery or you will struggle as I did and still do from time to time. As much as I hate to say it, try a chiropractor and see what happens. If you just pinched a nerve they will be able to fix you right up in a couple of weeks. I did something similar with my back when installing field fence in my pasture. Stapling the fence to the posts got me. I couldn't even mash the clutch in my 280zt without screaming bloody murder.
