When I used to work for the Game and Fish Dept I would often have to call for search and rescue when working on one of the sky islands in southern AZ. During the monsoon season people would come to the mountain top to hike and recreate and the temps would be in the 90s and then a storm would move in and it would rain, hail, snow or any combination there of. Temperatures would drop by 30 or more degrees in 10 to 15 minutes. Yeah, people would be caught out in the weather in tank tops and shorts. Bad juju when that happens!

When sking one time at Blue Knob. The lodge is at the top of the mountain. It was in the 70's there. Skied down to the bottom. Where it was in the teens.

Believe it or not. I got sun burned sking.
